Hello! We’re Barbara and Bernard, a couple from Slovenia currently exploring New Zealand and embracing the Kiwi way of life. We’re both hardworking, curious, and down-to-earth people who enjoy lending a hand, learning new skills, and living simply and mindfully.
Barbara is warm, organized, and passionate about home life — from cooking and gardening to taking care of children. With a background in scouting and experience with kids of all ages, she brings patience, creativity, and a love for the outdoors. Bernard, a trained mechanical engineer, brings a wide range of hands-on experience — from farm work and forest labor to tech repairs and hotel maintenance. He’s adventurous at heart, with hobbies like hiking, paragliding, and music.
We both value meaningful conversations, time in nature, and helping others in a thoughtful, respectful way. Whether it's maintaining a household, working outdoors, or sharing meals and stories, we show up with care and reliability.
We’re excited to meet new people, contribute where needed, and exchange experiences and culture along the way.
