I have recently graduated university in England where I was studying Mechanical Engineering with Energy, during which I worked for a year designing batteries for Formula E race cars.
After graduating, I worked for 7 months on battery, electric vehicle and carbon projects before coming to South America to travel.
I have a lot of practical experience from working with my dad at home repairing things, building sheds to store firewood and gardening with my mum in the vegetable patch, looking after the flower beds and harvesting from our fruit trees, so am very capable of using tools and really enjoy making and repairing things!
I love spending time outside in the mountains and on the water. My hobbies are hiking, climbing, snowboarding, winter mountaineering, sailing, windsurfing, kayaking and mountain biking and also take an interest in wildlife.
I really enjoy getting away from fast-paced modern life by spending time outdoors away from tourists and get great satisfaction from practical projects.
