We love anything outdoors and feel very motivated by the thrill of travel and adventure. We are fascinated by culture and history. Most of all, we love meeting, working with, and learning from all kinds of people!
Malia studied communication and conflict management in college, and nothing brings her more happiness than two people working together to collaborate their differences and develop genuine respect and love for each other.
Bryce studied biochemistry and philosophy, and during his undergraduate career could often be found reading great books or working in a research lab.
We have done workaways involving large and small scale farming, animal care, child care, food preparation, and construction in Italy and Austria. We love staying busy with the various tasks our hosts give us - whether we are familiar with the work or not!

I am very friendly and an excellent communicator. I have experience working with children as a self employed swim instructor, a youth wilderness therapy guide, and a mentor at a residential treatment center. I also grew up doing a lot of outdoor labor on my parents hobby farm.
