LOOKING FOR WORKAWAY IN QUEBEC/ONTARIO - CANADA

We are Marius and Audrey, 27 yo
We decided to leave our jobs to take a gap year traveling around the world: Japan, Europe, Canada and Vietnam.

After 4 years of office work (Marius as an engineer and Audrey in logistics), we felt the desire to explore different ways of living and develop skills that are closer to people and nature.

We would be thrilled to assist you and learn new stuff alongside you.

(Marius speaking): I can help out with your DIY projects (indoor and outdoor), I love forestry work and working outdoor, I am also very tech-savvy and will gladly help you out if you need help with ANY electronic device/phone/website/broken printer... I am really handy and will gladly help you with carpentry, electricity or plumbing jobs on rainy days! I can use any power tool and if you have the right tools I can do pretty much anything

(Audrey speaking): I have some basic DIY/creative skills. I can assist with communication tasks and enjoys gardening, cleaning, cooking, and caring for animals (big and small). I can help you with renovation and DIY projects like changing (or picking) wallpaper, sanding, painting...

We both cook quite a lot and bake as well.

We spent last summer (2024) renovating our apartment so we have some experience if you need to do some maintenance/fixing

In 2019, during our studies, we had two Workaway experiences. We helped with maintaining a house (interior, garden, DIY, painting...), also helped with sheep on the farm next door and took care of a B&B in the town nearby (cleaning rooms, bathroom, making beds...). We also contributed to the creation of a Buddhist center in Scotland (mostly forestry work, but also cabin building, gardening, meal prep, etc.).

In 2025: so far we have done 3 months of workaway in Ireland and have done a lot of things, DiY projects (building/designing a bookshef, building things from palets...), renovation work (putting down a new kitchen, sanding wooden floors...), gardening (some basic permaculture, picking fruits and veg, a lot of weeding...) and so much more (computer stuff, spliting wood, clearing woodland...) and we are still eager to learn!

We both have a driver licence and a travel/health insurance

We are both physically able and looking forward helping you out!

We enjoy music, cinema, cooperative board games, video games...
We also practice sports such as cycling, swimming, Pilates, and running.
Audrey enjoys creative activities like painting, pottery, and sewing. She’s a beginner in these areas but really enjoys them.
Marius likes music, DIY projects, building/fixing computers, and video editing.
