Hi there, I'm Astrid. I recently quit my job as a civil engineer to spend some time traveling. I'm happiest outside in nature hiking a mountain, surfing in the ocean, swimming in a waterfall or starring at trees. I love meeting new people and learning about different cultures. I studied civil engineering, so I'm a fairly analytical person. I also worked as a waitress for a couple of years. I have been around animals my whole live and absolutely adore all of them! We always had cats at home and I did horseback riding for a long period in my life. I've also volunteered on farms before, where I helped with animal care, housework, painting, gardening and general maintanence.
I speak German and English fluently and a little bit of Spanish. I'm good with other people, very reliable and organised. I also don't take myself too seriously and am happy to share a laugh with you!
