Hello, I hope you are doing well! My name is Antonia, I am from and grew up in a small village ( around 70 inhabitants ) in Germany.
This is why I have always been more prone to prefer living a slow life, surrounded by as much nature as possible 😊 I love taking care of and spending time with animals ( one of the most important people in my life is my disabled cat Erwin which is back home enjoying his life in his territory, my parents little „Hof“) and have a big interest in Indoor and Outdoor Plant care. I also just recently started to practice knitting and crocheting and I have to say I am already addicted. 🧶
After having a Job for seven years I finally took the step last year to quit and try to find myself and my talents again.
I enjoy painting, drawing and basically everything with creative roots, back home I play the Cornet and really enjoy music in general! I also greatly enjoy leading an active lifestyle ( in the gym, swimming, bouldering ).

I am always eager to learn and to apply my, and the newly acquired skills when needed! 🌱

More details about my language interests
When it comes to learning languages I am always interested in knowing the language of the country I am in at least to a touristy level. When I am locked in and also have the opportunity to talk to locals I pick up vocabulary pretty fast and generally don’t have a problem with learning them rather fast.

More details about your skills

I am completely new to workaways but I’ll try to make a run down of my general skills.
- Visually creative tasks like painting walls I don’t have expertise in but I can do it pretty nicely,painting and drawing in general ( which I have done basically my whole life and am now trying to slowly get back my inspiration for )
-Basic Skills in Gardening
-Taking care of indoor plants and seeing/ evaluating their needs visually ( mostly generic plants like Pothos and multiple Variations of monstera but they were thriving under my care)
-Taking care of animals ( our generations of Family cats, two horses which I took care of multiple times a week for one and a half years)
-I love working on tasks that I have to tap into my creativity for to complete.
-If I have tasks that have to be religiously followed I also have the discipline needed to keep at them.
-Carpentry, Metal work and general „fixing of stuff“ I am also trying to gather skills at ( right now I am still more of the helper and learner )
-I am pretty good at heavy lifting because I also enjoy doing that at the gym, when there’s the time of chopping and preparing firewood at home my whole family would work together on organizing that.
