Hi there!
I am Toni, 25 years old and I am currently working a few hours per week in a startup about financial education for women.
I love meeting people with different cultural backgrounds to get to know their culture, their thoughts - simply their personality. Ever since I spent a year as a volunteer in Colombia, I wanted to travel more. I decided to study economics and development after that experience and even though I've been lucky enough to have come around a bit, I'm still hungry for more. 😉 The first half of 2024 I spent my time as a digital nomad exploring Vietnam (highly recommended btw). I could really take my time and travel slowly instead of rushing through the country. That's what I like about workaway - most projects require you to calm down and ground yourself again. It's easy to rush through countries but I believe we do that with a lot of areas of our life anyways, hence I love the tranqulity of slow travel.
A bit about me: I love to do sports (I recently became a yoga teacher) if I have some free time, I enjoy baking and cooking or other creative stuff and I am a huge animal lover. Friends and family are important to me but I am always open to let new people (or animals for that matter) conquer my heart. I am vegan and try to live a sustainable way of life.
