Description
Hi! I’m someone who really enjoys meeting people from different cultures and experiencing places through the people who live there. For me, Workaway is a great way to travel more slowly, learn new skills, and be part of everyday life somewhere new rather than just passing through.
I’ve volunteered in different places across Europe and Southeast Asia, helping out with a mix of projects. What I enjoy most is the exchange that happens along the way: sharing meals, stories, ideas, and learning how different people live and work. I’m happy getting stuck into practical tasks, spending time outdoors, and being part of a team.
Nature and adventure are a big part of why I travel. I love being in the countryside and exploring new landscapes. Whether it’s gardening, climbing, or just spending time outside, I’m usually at my happiest when I’m in nature and doing something hands-on.
I’m currently hoping to spend some time in Spanish-speaking places so I can improve my Spanish before a bigger trip I’m planning to South America. It would be great to learn through everyday conversation and by being part of a local community.
Overall, I’m easygoing, curious about the world, and always keen to learn something new. I’m looking forward to meeting good people, sharing experiences, and helping out where I can.

More details about your skills
I’m practical, hardworking, and happy getting stuck into different kinds of projects. I studied engineering at university and last year I worked on construction sites helping build large steel rollercoasters, so I’m comfortable with tools, physical work, and working safely as part of a team.
I enjoy making and fixing things, and I do a bit of woodworking as a hobby. I also help out regularly at my mum’s allotment, so I’m used to gardening tasks and don’t mind getting muddy.
I’m physically fit and spend a lot of my free time climbing, which means I’m comfortable with heights and enjoy outdoor, hands-on work. Last year I also worked with a large group of volunteers on a bird conservation project, so I’m used to collaborating with different people and contributing to environmental work.
Professionally, I currently work in a data analysis role, so I’m organised, reliable, and good at problem-solving. I’m fluent in English and have basic Spanish, which I’m hoping to improve through my travels.
Overall, I’m adaptable and keen to help wherever it’s needed — whether that’s outdoor projects, building and maintenance work, gardening, or helping with general tasks around a place.
