Description
Hi, my name is Anouk, I‘m 20 years old and I'm from Germany.
I graduated from the Waldorf School in Darmstadt in 2025, and before starting my studies in biology, I decided to take a year off to dedicate myself to the things that truly inspire and excite me.
After many years at school, I feel a strong desire to discover more of the world, gain new perspectives, and take a deep breath of fresh air :)
I love being outdoors and experiencing nature in all its diversity. Animals have always played a very special role in my life, and I genuinely enjoy every moment spent with them. For this reason, I have been vegetarian for many years and am now also living a vegan lifestyle.
I am a creative person and love expressing myself artistically. Painting, knitting, cooking, hiking, and bouldering are some of the activities I enjoy most and spend a lot of my free time with.
I am always happy to meet new people, enjoy having fun together, and I’m not afraid to lend a hand whenever help is needed. I’m curious, open-minded, and looking forward to meaningful experiences, shared moments, and learning through practical work.

More details about your skills
* I have gained practical experience with animals through both private care and hands-on work. I have grown up taking care of a dog, cats, and chickens, which I look after with great dedication and patience. In addition, I completed a two-week internship at a veterinary practice and am currently doing a four-month internship at a sanctuary farm in Tübingen. The animals there come from poor living conditions and are given a new home where they no longer have to serve any purpose but are simply allowed to live.
* Through my time at the Waldorf School, I was able to develop a wide range of artistic and practical skills, including painting, sculpting, sewing, stone carving, and acting. I also worked for one year as a carpenter, gaining hands-on experience with woodwork. Furthermore, I was actively involved as a school paramedic for many years, which taught me responsibility, attentiveness, and calmness in challenging situations.
* At the sanctuary farm, I also gained experience working with children through the children’s program offered there. This helped me learn how to engage with children, create meaningful activities, and interact with them in a caring and mindful way.
* I have held a driver’s license for about one year now and am comfortable driving when needed.
