Hey😊
My name is Annika, I am 19 years old and I currently work as a waitress after I graduated high school last year.
I grew up in a small town in the countryside of southern Germany, where I still live with my parents and our dog Gizmo.
I would describe myself as a very positive, active, independent and adventurous person who gets along with everyone.
One thing I like to do is experiencing my home region like a tourist, for example by going on hikes to places I haven’t been to before or visit different kinds of museums.
The beauty of nature is something that truly amazes me and I would love to see more of it.
Moreover, I absolutely love animals and it has always been a dream of mine to work with them. My dog plays an important role in my life and I also have been doing horseback riding for just about eleven years now and I still really enjoy it.
Also, I take great interest in different cultures and learning new languages.
When it comes to the work aspect I really enjoy working in a team, I can work hard and I would like to help wherever I can.
My goal for my time abroad is meeting people, getting to know their culture and learning their language but also see a lot of beautiful places that usually aren’t visited by tourists.

I have some experience in gardening and animal care, since I sometimes have to help on my grandmothers property and I also have a dog.
I really enjoy working in a team but I'm also okay with doing tasks by myself.
Cooking is also something that I really enjoy, especially with fresh and regional vegetables.
