Hello, my name is Anja and I am an Italo-German 22-year-old. I recently graduated from my Bachelors degree in Psychology and I'm looking for new ways to motivate myself and to learn as much as I can from different ways of living. I am passionate about sports and currently have a job as a swimming instructor and lifeguard, since I have participated in competitive swimming for 8 years. I also enjoy hiking, skiing, climbing, weighlifting and freediving.
I love spending time outdoors with my dog and I really like camping with my friends, where adrenaline is always a welcome friend.
This is my first time participating in an exchange opportunity of this nature, but I am very excited to challenge myself and to help contribute as best as I can.

My main abilities regard my studies in Psychology and my life at the pool. I am a certified swimming instructor and I work with children and people with disabilities. This has given me quite some insight into interpersonal relations and care of minors. I also have a certificate as a pool lifeguard.
In my free time I volunteer at the local Red Cross, both through social work - for instance school projects- and ambulance service.
I do not have much experience with handywork but I am an active person so physical work shouldn't be a problem and I am very eager to learn as much as I can.
I have a dog and fish at home and my family owns a vegetable garden, so I have some experience regarding gardening and animal care.
