Hi everyone!

My name is Aneta, I’m 24 years old and I’m from the Czech Republic. I recently finished my university studies, and now I’d like to start a new chapter of my life – travelling, working, discovering new places and gaining new experiences.

I’m interested in discovering different countries, cultures and ways of life, but I don’t want to travel just as a tourist. I also want to work, be useful and gain new work experience. I’d like to try different working environments, learn new skills and experience what everyday life and work are like in other countries.

I’m open-minded, curious, responsible and a quick learner. I’m not afraid of hard work and I’m always happy to get involved wherever I’m needed. I also enjoy meeting new people, learning from them and being part of a team.

I love nature, animals and simple everyday life. I’d also like to improve my English and learn something new from every person I meet and every place I visit along the way.

What attracts me most to Workaway is the combination of work, travel and cultural exchange. I’d like not only to spend a short time in different places, but, whenever possible, stay longer, get involved in the work, experience local life and become part of a team or local community, even if just for a while.

I’m looking forward to new work opportunities, new experiences, interesting people and seeing where this journey takes me. 🤍

I grew up in the countryside, so I’m used to different types of manual work and taking care of a house and garden. I’m practical, independent and not afraid of hard work or getting my hands dirty.
I currently work in hospitality and I’m used to working in a busy environment. At work, I’m flexible and always happy to help wherever an extra pair of hands is needed. I can work independently, but I also enjoy being part of a team and I’m happy to take on different tasks depending on the situation.

I have the most experience with dogs, as I have one myself, but I’d also love to learn how to work with other or larger animals. I’m comfortable helping around the house, keeping things organised and taking care of everyday tasks around the house or garden.

I enjoy cooking and I’m always happy to help with meal preparation or in the kitchen. I also like spending time with children and coming up with creative activities for them. I enjoy DIY projects, crafts and painting, so I definitely have a creative side.

I’m open to new things, enjoy learning and I’m not afraid to try work or tasks that I haven’t done before.

What else ...

I enjoy spending my time with friends, family and my dog. I love painting and doing DIY projects, and sometimes I go swimming or practise yoga. I enjoy simple conversations and I also like going out from time to time to have a good time.
I love being in nature, going for walks and discovering new places. That’s one of the reasons why I want to try Workaway — to meet new people, see different ways of living and explore the world a bit more. I’m open-minded and always happy to experience something new.
