I have been meeting new people and friends my entire life, constantly moving around as a military child. While this was at times annoying, I began to really appreciate how lucky I was to meet so many new people, and learn how to interact and build relationships with them. My first gap year, almost 4 years ago, solidified this appreciation. I worked at 2 hostels, one in Greece and one in Morocco, where I got to meet so many new people and make memories I still think about daily. It was the best decision I have ever made, and I cannot wait to begin my next one.

I would love to teach English, and learn more Spanish. I took 4 years of Spanish in high school, however that was a few years ago so I am in need of some practice and learning.

At the 2 hostels I previously worked at, I worked the reception desk, helped guide guests around the city, prepare food, clean rooms and other facilities, and any other task asked of me.

While traveling I would love to do and learn new things. Specifically, I want to learn how to scuba, skydive, surf, and any other adrenaline filled sport there is. I have always loved sports and am excited to try any new ones!
