Looking for people to build something meaningful

Are you an open-minded, kind person dreaming of creating a community in a place with a pleasant climate? If so, I'd love to hear from you.

I'm currently travelling through Portugal in my truck, exploring the country, its people, its culture and its native plants. My long-term dream is not just to join a community, but to create one from the ground up together with like-minded people.

I studied horticulture, love working with nature, and my friends often describe me as someone who turns ideas into reality. I enjoy planning, building, learning and bringing people together around a shared vision.

At the moment I'm mainly looking around Portugal (and possibly Spain) for the right place and the right people. I believe a strong community isn't built on money alone, but on trust, shared values and complementary skills.

Maybe you don't own much—neither do I. That's perfectly fine. We can combine our ideas, our knowledge, our energy and start from there.

Or maybe you already have land, practical skills, tools or other resources. Great. I'm sure we can find a way to use them in a fair and meaningful way.

If this resonates with you, I'd be happy to exchange ideas. Even if we don't end up building something together, I'd love to connect with people who share this vision.

I enjoy practical, hands-on work and learn new skills quickly. Thanks to my background in horticulture, I'm especially happy working outdoors and with plants, but I'm also interested in many other kinds of projects.

Some of the things I enjoy are:
- Gardening and plant care
- Vegetable growing
- General farm tasks
- DIY and building projects
- Organising and planning
- Helping with workshops or retreats
- Caring for animals (always happy to learn more)
- Cooking together (especially when there's time to enjoy the process)
- My secret passion: tidying up 😄😄

People often describe me as proactive. If I see something that needs doing, I usually don't wait to be asked. I enjoy taking responsibility, working independently and finding practical solutions, while also being a reliable team member.

Outside of work, I'm a creative and curious person. I enjoy crocheting, sketching and expressing myself through small creative projects... even if the results aren't always masterpieces. I'm a huge tea enthusiast and love turning a simple cup of tea into a little ritual.

I'm always excited to learn new skills. Next year I'll begin my training as a beekeeper, and I'd also like to become a massage therapist. One day I'd love to learn a musical instrument as well.

I appreciate slow conversations, nature, shared meals and people who enjoy creating rather than simply consuming. While I don't currently have a regular yoga or meditation practice, I'd love to make space for those things again once I've found the right place and people.
