Hello!
I’m currently at a transitional phase of my life and looking to travel for a year in hopes of finding a community that I resonate with for a new place to call home. I currently live in Long Beach, California, and work at a Native plant farm that I have built out with two other people. I am part of a community that I love and appreciate, but I am at a point in my life where I need to get out of the city and be more connected to the rhythms of nature.
I love working on projects with people to bring ideas to life! I also love cooking and sharing meals together, but need alone time for my spiritual development. I am also an independent self starter so I’m happy to do solo projects. I love working with plants and have two years experience at our nursery/farm. I also have five years experience with compost systems, and many years of general fixing/home improvement stuff. I also have many years of teaching experience and computer skills if that’s helpful. I love animals and I’m willing to learn more about taking care of them as well.
I’m very interested in learning skills that will help me build an off-grid possibly tiny home lifestyle when I find the place I want to call home!
