Recently retired from a large energy company in the USA, I now pursue my interests in travel, service and volunteering. current interests include languages, the environment, yoga, and meditation. I have spent time studying and practicing in Buddhist monasteries and can speak, read and write Thai at a basic level, though English is my native language. I am always happy to learn and share languages with others, and have successfully tutored others in both Thai and English. A lifelong vegetarian with an interest in human development and environmental sustainability, I seek volunteer opportunities with like minded people and projects. In addition to my professional experience with energy distribution and geographical information systems, I have professional certificates in project management, Ayurveda, and yoga teaching. I have also taught multiple subjects at all grade levels, from kindergarten through graduate school in the United States. I am familiar with a variety of hand and power tools and am happy to try my hand at anything. I have done a bit of gardening as well. I look forward to making a contribution to whatever project I participate in. I also hope to make lasting friendships and learn from others along the way.
