Description
Hi there! My name is Anna and moving around is sort of my thing! I grew up between Italy and Germany, but have studied in Denmark, Austria and Ireland in the past 6 years! However, I am always hungry for more and as a student who spends a lot of time working on my laptop inside during the academic year, I like to spend my summer outside and moving! My home in Italy is in a national park, which has only recently been proclaimed UNESCO world heritage, so I grew up hiking, climbing trees and riding at the nearest horse ranch. In general, I am a very curious and creative person and love learning and building new things, as well as getting to know the environment around me through a "hands-on approach"!

My mother tongues are German and Italian, but I am fluent in English and have a B2 level of Spanish. I am used to working in a team with other people of international background thanks to my experience at the International People's College in Helsingør (Denmark) which I attended during the Autumn Term in 2020.
Thanks to my Italian genes I am quite a decent cook and would be happy to prepare some typical Italian dishes for you! Apart from that I also have some experience in cleaning in hostels and B&Bs as I did so during last summer.
I have good digital skills and I am an amateur photographer. During high school I wrote for our newspaper for 4 years, but my main focus in the field of writing is on short stories, for which I have won a couple of writing contests.
I started horse riding at the age of 9, but never treated it as a competitive sport. Instead I focused on learning how to look after horses and focused on horseback trekking and groundwork. I am both able to ride in the English or Western style, but also greatly enjoy bareback riding!
