Rebecca is a Brit who caught the travel bug while spending a summer as a camp counsellor in the US. She quit her office job in 2017 to grow her film tourism blog and freelance writing career. During this time, she volunteered at a yoga retreat in Spain, a Buddhist centre in England, and hostels in the Isle of Skye and Edinburgh via Workaway.

After moving to Belfast and completing an MA in creative writing, she emigrated to the US in 2025 and wrote the guidebook 111 Places in Salt Lake City That You Must Not Miss. One of Rebecca's favourite travel memories is replying to love letters as Juliet's secretary in Verona, Italy.
