Our 2 weeks experience here was actually really magical. From the start, we felt at home and part of their family while having a unique personal experience . Everyone there, even people visiting, is just so welcoming, open hearted and committed to the global project. We really enjoyed our time there and would recommend to anyone to live the experience. You will be staying in the most beautiful place of all Argentina, pure nature and peacefulness with magical people and really good cooks :) The work is very easy, no specific knowledge needed. The tasks are adapted depending on the needs and your personal wishes. You can have busy days if there are lots of guests or events but then, you also have days with very little working hours. China, Diego and Rio are lovely persons to share time with. They include you in each family activity : you are and feel part of their family. We really enjoyed spending time in nature with them, experiencing new things and talking hours and hours :) The food is also very important, you will spend a lot of time there and enjoy amazing food !!! We really didn’t want to leave and hope lots of volunteers will join the project because there is still a lot to do and they need help so don’t hesitate to contact them ! We would also be happy to answer any question if you have some. If you’re looking for an authentic experience with amazing people in an incredible peaceful place : you’ve found it !! Muchísimas gracias a toda la Magico familia, les extrañamos mucho y les esperamos a todos en Francia !!! <3

Alexandre was the only volunteer for 15 days, and his presence was very helpful. He was very willing and positive. He was a great help to me with my chores around the house. The conversations were interesting. Alexandre shared his extensive knowledge of birds with us. He can come back whenever he wants.

Sol stayed with us for one month and we are so grateful to have met her and for her assistance here. She came at a time when we were going through a major transition and how we do things here and she handled everything with grace despite some of our own internal challenges here at that time. She was a dedicated committed worker, always in wonderful, happy spirits, and a cheerful person whose lovely to be around. Any host would be blessed to have her and she will always be welcome back here.

We had a fantastic time with Titien. He came all the way from France with his beautiful motorbike, going around Spain and North Africa. Easygoing and uncomplicated, smiling, polite and ready for everything - the kids loved him. He helped us A LOT in the many jobs we had to do and he turned out to be very talented with the strimmer. A great person and a friend! Thank you so much Titien. Hope to see you again.

I stayed with Kevser’s family for three weeks, and it was truly a wonderful and meaningful experience for me. They welcomed me warmly into their home, and through cooking together, going grocery shopping, and sharing daily life, I was able to deeply learn about the food culture of Gaziantep. Since I am especially interested in gastronomy cities, I was very happy to experience the culinary traditions of this UNESCO Creative City firsthand. Rather than having fixed working hours, I helped as part of daily life — supporting with general household tasks and contributing wherever I could while living together as a family. Their two children are absolutely lovely, and spending time playing with them was such a joyful and healing experience. I am truly grateful for being welcomed as a member of the family and for the wonderful hospitality I received. Thank you so much for everything!!

I stayed at Özlem’s house for five days.Talking and having conversations about different topics was truly enjoyable and educational for me. Özlem cooked several vegan dishes and taught me how to prepare them. Ebru, Özlem’s friend, taught me crochet, and one day the three of us went to Çanakkale🙏, where I saw this beautiful city for the first time. I organized two of Özlem’s kitchen cabinets and moved the packaged food items to a cabinet on the balcony. I cooked several Iranian dishes. The time I spent with Özlem was very educational for me. Özlem takes care of five cats😻 at home(If one person is not cat lover maybe özlem's home is not a right place for him/her) and looks after all the animals in the neighborhood. She is very kind-hearted and attentive to other people and their needs. Getting to know Özlem and Ebru was a truly delightful experience for me💫.

What an incredible family!!! Words cannot describe how beautiful and warm this family had been to me. They took me in for the month like I was a daughter of theirs, I ate all meals with them, went to social outings, spent time at the farm with the parents, nothing felt like work with such incredible people. it also was a fantastic opportunity to work on my Spanish! I spent a majority of my time at their main house in Cajica, which was a lovely town one hour from Bogota. My days mainly included cleaning up , cooking some meals (unlimited chicken broth!) or helping them with tasks around the farm when they went so it was extremely relaxed. Highly recommend this family!

The farm I arrived on was in one of the most remote places I had ever ventured in, it was unreal!! The host only requested that I paint a tiny house throughout the day with no fixed time so it was extremely relaxed, and the owner of the house also cooked me some beautiful meals. I had some beautiful chats with Alma as well, she is an incredible women with unlimited patience, and owns the most STUNNING cheeky husky dog Shakti who I miss incredibly! Keep in mind this experience was VERY remote so it is not for the fainthearted, but I adored that!

Gracias gracias gracias 🫀🫂🌀

Horst and Mareike welcomed us with open arms to their farm. They were very kind and friendly with us from the very beginning and created a peaceful atmosphere that made us feel at home. Taking care of the animals and working on the farm was fantastic, just like the moments we shared together. We explored the island as much as possible and really enjoyed it. We hope to be able to visit them again soon; we already miss them!🫶🏻

The two weeks I spent here were absolutely incredible. Jessica is extremely attentive when you need anything and the head volunteer Pia at the time I was there was an ABSOLUTE LEGEND of a worker! Very impressive shelter and organisation with all, and most importantly the clients (100 beautiful doggies) were the kindest I had ever worked with. Though the work is tiring its extremely rewarding! I highly recommend for anyone :)

I had a great stay here, an amazing place in the middle of nature, with lots of trees, plants and animals! Muna is an amazing host, very welcoming, always eager to show you around the area and he even took me on trips to the beach with his family and friends. The daily tasks were simple and not too much work at all - mostly doing breakfast service in the morning, preparing rooms for new guests, welcoming them, keeping the restaurant and kitchen tidy and clean, doing laundry, and helping with cooking preparations for lunch and dinner. The amount of work very much depends on how many guests are there and whether they booked food. I had a few days where I worked a lot, but mostly it was rather chilled and some days with no guests at all. Food was always provided. I made my own breakfast, but you can have toast and fruits, lunch is the most amazing rice&curry cooked by the staff, and dinner mostly by joining the guests or going out to town. As mentioned in a review before, the description is not the most accurate in terms of food and working hours, and also about Carla not being present herself at the Lodge. Personally, for me those points were no issue at all though and I felt very comfortable. I was the only volunteer at the time and had a room for myself. Overall, I enjoyed this volunteering experience a lot and can recommend to everyone looking for a chilled stay, away from mass tourism, party hostels and luxury hotels. Be prepared that days might be quiet when there are no guests, but it's a great opportunity to explore the area or to just enjoy the amazing space Muna has created over the years! :)

It was my first Workaway experience and I couldn't have asked for a better one! I came with a friend and Isabella and Christian were extremely lovely, they cared about us a lot and it was fun working for them and their lovely animals. They gave us enough time to calm down and be on ourselves after we were working, in my opinion it was just a perfect balance. And I am grateful to have had all 3 meals together almost every day! All in all I can say that I enjoyed every second, even though waking up at 7:30 was hard for me, it was very much worth it! So if you stumble across their profile, mark them as favorite!! I have absolutely no regrets :)

I volunteered here for 2 weeks and had a really great experience. The job itself is quite easy, you mainly instruct people on how to wakeboard. It looks very difficult at first, but it’s actually much easier than it seems! You also operate the cable system, meaning you control the cables so people can ride safely. They always provided amazing food for breakfast and lunch, and on many days we also had dinner. There are several private rooms available, and if you’re lucky and they’re not rented out, you can stay in one. Otherwise, there are dorms for the volunteers, which are also comfortable. The atmosphere is very chill and relaxed. The place is only a 10-minute walk from Arambol Beach, one of the main beaches in Goa, so you can easily enjoy the beach in your free time. Overall, it was a fun and easygoing experience, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to learn wakeboarding, meet cool people, and enjoy life near the beach.

It was a pleasure to host Katja, she was super helpful and extremely generous with her time, skills and dedication to the tasks as well as being very caring with our children and animals. It was a particularly rainy time but she didn't let that get in the way and she planted many things, sowed seeds, did weeding, dug in muddy holes, raspberry supports, etc. We really enjoyed having her calm presence around and loved her cooking too, she is a prefect volunteer and we would always welcome her back.

We had a great time hosting Dustin and Lisa, and thank them a lot for their presence during the olive harvest. They participated to both the harvesting and the pruning of the trees in January. They committed themselves right away to the project, and showed great abilities to working outdoors. It was particularly impressive to see how fast they understood how to prune the trees, and in only a couple of days, had really made the technics shared their own. They were hard-working, consistent, and brought a great balance to the team. Everyone appreciated their cooking skills, as well as their ability to step in front for tasks of the daily life: driving, taking care of the wood stove, etc. We would be happy to host them again, and warmly recommend them to any hosts!

What a wonderful time we had with Celine and Lucas! They spent 4 weeks with us in January and gave us a great boost to finishing the harvest, before jumping on the pruning of the trees. Although the weather wasn't always the best and there was a variety of tasks, they showed up every day with full presence and a smile. They adapted easily to the the different tasks, eager to try and learn, and working well as a team. We enjoyed their company, the interest they had for the area, the olive production, and all the interesting conversations they initiated. Their awareness of team dynamics was on point, and we really appreciated what they brought to the table, co-creating in every instant the overall experience we all shared. Thank you so much for everything you contributed to this season. We look forward to seeing you again soon!

Puja is a totally charming, adorable, helpful young woman. She was only with us a few days and we hope that she will return in the future for a longer stay . Puja was so helpful , always with a smile , we felt we had known her all our lives from the very first day & our little dogs also loved her . What is to say but the most, the best, amazingly wonderful experience with Puja here with us. She has this universal connection to people and pets that is her gift. Our house is in upset riot disorder right now from an insect invasion and efforts to clear that out and reorganize all the storage stuff and Puja just took that all in stride with helping and no problem. She was so the most helpful , our only regret was that she could n't stay longer . We recommend her 100 % and more. Gina and Jose '
