Such an amazing experience to work in Regina’s place. You don’t need to have previous experience from horses only motivation and eager to learn! We were working in small team of other volunteers from all around the world. The work included cleaning horse boxes and since it was already cold weather we helped Regina with firewood. If you love horses and want to have a peaceful time in the countryside this is for you. Regina is having such a big heart and you really feel welcomed to the ranch. The accommodation was really nice as well with big kitchen, pretty new toilets and showers, big common place with fireplace and your own room. Highly recommended! ❤️

Estuvieron en nuestra fundacion una semana, pero eso no fue motivo para no compartir y vivir la experiencia de participar de nuestro proyecto... Simplemente estas dos mujeres son increibles... My 2 weeks in Don Nangloy with Phonephet and the rest of the family were amazing. They're great people, very kind and social, the kids Emma and Vera are the sweetest and I enjoyed every second playing with them and the kids of the village. I swam with their pet buffalo Petunia and we got to see the other Islands as well. I got to meet so many amazing people, not only Lao, but also all the other volounteers and guests, the mood around this place is special, I bonded so much with each one of them and I feel very grateful for the experience. We spent Christmas all together, Phonephet gave us a free day to celebrate and we cooked pancakes for everyone. Puk (Phonephet's wife) is sweet and funny and she's also an excellent cooker! I would totally recommend this experience and, if I'll have the chance, I'll go back there for sure!

This was my first work away, and I'm really glad I chose this place. They carefully explained the work and why it was necessary, so I was able to work while gaining new knowledge. When I told them I was interested in permaculture, they told me about various resources and their experiences. Also, my life during my stay was directly connected to permaculture, and my experiences of using fragrance-free household products and only washing clothes made from natural fibers made me realize things I wouldn't notice in my everyday life. I learned a lot that I want to use in my future life. I'm truly grateful to them both.

I spent three months at the auberge with Sara and Alessandro, the owners: two lovely and interesting people. The place, the village and the area all around are great. They made me feel at home since the first day and they have always been very clear flexible about the tasks and work time. I am looking forward to go back there asap. :)

Silvie es de esas personas que hacen que todo este super bien.... Tiene un corazon gigante, su empatia, solidaridad y energia se destacan en ella.. It was pleasure to meet Hanna. From the first day we met her we know she was very relayable . After one day spending with her and give he all instructions about how to manage our farm we left for holiday. In this time she needs to be able to look after house and animals, which includes feeding dogs, cats, chickens, geese ,sheep and Alpacas. Additionally to this task she needs to water all gardens, which is very big and do some weeding, cutting and pruning. When we come back after one week we find out that all our animals are healthy and happy. Our gardens were very well cared. Hanna spent three weeks with us, in three weeks she did a lot of work in veggie garden and in other gardens by trimming all hedges, planting vegetables and cleaning all leafs and old plants. She has done fantastic work. Hanna very helpful in kitchen, she can cook and help me with all meal preparation. She is very good with communication and good companion. We sad she has to go, but we wish all the best in her adventures and highly recommend her. Mike and Yelena

From day one, Mikaela and Emily were just lovely to have around. They are friendly, proactive, and thoughtful people who put real care into everything they did. They worked hard, took initiative without needing direction, and went above and beyond what was asked of them. They were always respectful and tidy, and fitted in so well that it felt very natural having them here. We really enjoyed hosting them, and the next work awayers will definitely have big boots to fill — they set the bar so high. Any host will be lucky to have them! I cannot recommend them enough!!

It was a real pleasure to welcome Annabelle among us. She got involved wholeheartedly in the different services, she was given and always showed great commitment. Very curious and attentive, she was eager to understand our daily life at the abbey and didn’t hesitate to ask questions, which led to meaningful exchanges and helped strengthen our sense of fraternity. Annabelle was always joyful and brought a warm presence to the community. She showed a genuine spirit of service and dedication in every task, even the simplest ones. Her presence was truly appreciated and left a very positive impression on all of us.

I had a genuinely good experience here and felt welcomed from the very beginning of my stay. Over the course of about two months, I primarily helped with the horses, sheep, and goose, and also contributed to fixing up an old trailer, including painting and installing interior panels. I additionally assisted with some minor computer-related tasks. The work was varied and engaging, and it was easy to feel useful and involved. Peter and Connie were kind, supportive, and consistently willing to help with any questions or issues that came up. They were also very open to helping me learn and practice German and took time to share insights into the local culture, which I greatly appreciated. Communication was generally good, though there were occasional moments where instructions or expectations differed slightly between Peter and Connie, which could be a bit confusing. That said, both were well-intentioned, and this never became a real problem. Asking for clarification and keeping everyone aligned was always enough to resolve things smoothly. Overall, this is a warm and worthwhile Workaway for volunteers who enjoy working with animals, practical hands-on projects, and life in a rural environment. I am glad I stayed here and would happily recommend it to others

Premarajan and his wife have been extremely kind and welcoming. They are curious and happy to learn about new cultures and habits and they are very keen on explaining theirs. We unfortunately only stayed a few days as the coconut oil delivery was quite delayed so we shortened our stay a bit. We would be more than happy to come back to help them out with their soap production. Thank you very much for spending time with us, showing us around and introducing us to North Kerala culture. Hopefully see you soon!

Amazing Workaway experience with Simon and Kei. Warm welcome from day one, I truly felt at home. Kei is an incredible cook, every meal was a real pleasure. Simon, Kei and the children are a wonderful family, kind and generous. I’m leaving with many beautiful memories, a lot of gratitude, and the wish to come back one day.

Lizzie is such a wonderful host! I had a wonderful time staying with her in her beautiful home. I was originally just meant to stay 2 weeks but ended up staying a whole month. She included me in her life and I learnt so much from her in my time there. She taught me how to knit a jumper, a little about preserving and cooking and lots about gardening! She's also an amazing cook and all the food was delicious. The area she lives in is really beautiful and i enjoyed walking along the beach and through the forest. I'm very grateful to have had the opportunity to have stayed with Lizzie and would definitely stay with her again! Thank you so much for having me Lizzie, you're always welcome in Adelaide! I stayed with this beautiful family in their very special home for one and a half week in January. I was working in the garden with different tasks, feeding the animals and also helping in the kitchen with washing dishes, and cleaning some areas. A few times I also took care of the children. My daughter and granddaughter came for a few days and that was a special experience for them. We are very grateful for letting all of us come. I shared beautiful moments with Anna talking about life. I had the chance to explore Icod de los Vinos that is a nice little village. La playa de San Marcos was nice and it was also interesting to visit La Casa del Plátano to learn about the history and cultivation of the bananas on the Canary Islands. We went together to El Mariposario and that was a wonderful place. Thank you from my heart for receiving me and I'll never forget the wonderful bath under the sky, among the plants with a marvellous view over the Atlantic Ocean!

This was a wonderful experience that exceeded my expectations. The program is very organised and allows for a wholesome experience. I will cherish my time there and am grateful for the connections I have made with the fellow volunteers.

Loys is awesome, great energy, great teacher, and got stuck in to any task we needed. Stayed for 4 months instead of the initial 1, so that tells you everything you need to know!

I have been with this family since the beginning of September and will stay until the end of the school year. Honestly, I don’t even know where to begin – I am incredibly grateful to have met such a wonderful family. From the very first day, I was warmly welcomed. They truly make me feel like part of the family, and from the start I felt a genuine interest in getting to know me as a person. I honestly cannot name a single negative point. Daily life is very well organized, and my tasks are exactly as we discussed beforehand. Over time, a lot of trust has been built, and I truly feel that this trust is mutual. I have plenty of free time, my weekends are always free, but I am also warmly invited to spend them with the family if I wish. What I especially appreciate are the small things that make a family feel like a family: having dinner together every evening, cooking together, or simply spending time together. This is what makes everyday life here so pleasant. I feel very comfortable in the family and truly valued. Azzurra and Arianna are incredibly sweet, lively and funny children, and spending time with them is a real joy. Erika and Alberto are just as kind, open and warm-hearted, and they genuinely care about my well-being. I can recommend this family 100% and I am very much looking forward to the coming months here in Rome.

Such a nice experience with Olga. She worked really a lot, with real skills for wood work, it has been a great service for us. We appreciated a lot also to have sharing moments, and conversation. Olga is easy to live with, sympatetic, and really helpful. Thanks again for coming.
