Description
Hi! We’re Emily (25) and Mikaela (26), two Australians travelling together and excited to learn, help and connect with new communities. In Australia, Emily works as a primary school teacher and Mikaela works as a primary school principal. Helping young people grow brings us a huge amount of happiness, and we're always excited to share skills and learn from others.
We are patient, organised and genuinely enjoy being part of meaningful projects. Whether that’s teaching, childcare, community support or general help around a family home. We are also happy to help with gardening, animals, cleaning, hospitality and anything hands-on. Good chats, shared meals and learning new skills make us happiest.
We’re motivated by feeling useful, meeting thoughtful hosts, sharing good conversations and learning local ways of life.

More details about your skills
We’re both friendly, practical people who aren’t afraid to get stuck into whatever needs doing. We love animals and feel completely at home caring for pets, farm animals, feeding, cleaning, walking, or helping with general daily routines. We learn quickly and enjoy being hands-on, whether that’s gardening, outdoor work, tidying, organising or helping keep a household running smoothly.
Although we’re teachers back home, that’s only one part of who we are. We’re comfortable helping with kids when needed, but we’re just as happy working with animals, doing physical tasks, learning new skills, or supporting community projects. Mikaela also has a degree in digital marketing and can help with content creation, social media and simple promotional tasks if needed. We’re reliable, positive and take pride in doing jobs well.
Most of all, we’re open-minded, adaptable and excited to learn whatever skills each place can teach us. We’re willing helpers who enjoy contributing wherever we can.
