Description
My name is Jamal, and I’m excited to welcome helpers from around the world to be part of our small but vibrant project. We are located in Babati Manyara lively town near Arusha, Tanzania, where culture, nature, and community come together.
Our project focuses on Radio station community development, sustainable farming, creative arts, radio broadcasting, tourism, etc. The goal is to create meaningful experiences for both locals and visitors while contributing positively to our environment and society. We aim to share skills, build cultural understanding, and grow together through collaboration and creativity.
Our Team
We currently employ 2 locally paid staff members who help support the day-to-day running of our project:
Mama Asha – our wonderful cook and housekeeper. She helps prepare meals, keeps the place clean, and offers a warm welcome to everyone.
Joseph – assists with general maintenance, errands, and guiding visitors when exploring the local area.
Both team members are part of our extended family and enjoy sharing stories, meals, and culture with Workawayers.Types of help and learning opportunities
