Description
We are a busy family with 2 children, 18 & 16. We have 7 acres with 5 dogs. We run a paragliding school in the village where we have two houses for clients. We are looking for an animal-loving couple to help with general DIY chores around the land.
We run our own paragliding school, have 7 acres of land, and various client houses in the village. On our land, we have a very nice cabin with a bedroom/bathroom/kitchen for a workaway to be independent. We are just 2km from a very beautiful little village and we are surrounded by stunning mountain ranges and lakes., it's a 20 min walk to the village, we do have bicycles and go into town every day but if you enjoy walking and the countryside then you've come to the perfect place. It is a great opportunity for someone to have a taste of rural Spanish life and learn some Spanish at the same time. The village is very traditional, v friendly and safe, and incredibly cheap to eat out.
We try to leave guests to work independently, as and when they want to work. Tasks include gardening, pruning olive trees, general outside maintenance ie painting and tidying.
Regarding food we will give you money to buy food so you can eat independently, sometimes we all eat together but with flying we never know when we will be back.
We like practical people who are happy to be independent, use their own initiative and complete tasks alone. You also need to be self-motivated as we are not always at the house but we do like to see that things have progressed during your stay.
We are half an hour from Ronda in the direction of Seville. There is a good bus service from the village so you can visit Cadiz, Jerez, Seville etc.
We are all English but the children are bi-lingual so you can practice/learn Spanish with them if you want to.

General help around land and diy. Autumn is Olive season so we need to prune, burn and pick over Autumn. Late winter is more of the same plus more painting !
As we are busy we are looking for someone to do some odd jobs and diy around the land, painting, simple gardening, repairing fences, helping with veg patch ect. Animal lovers are essential, easy-going and relaxed and not to shy to get stuck in
its a great place to be if you like the countryside and peace and quiet, though town is close by and has a suprisingly vibrant night life. Our team of instructors will make finding a social life no problem!Languages spoken
English: Fluent
Spanish: IntermediateAccommodation
We own a cosy self-contained cabin with a bedroom, kichen/living room, and bathroom.
What else ...
There are loads of walks and socialising to be done whilst you are here, we have some bicyles you can have access too to use
A little more information
Internet access
Limited internet access
We have pets
We are smokers
Can host families
Can host digital nomads
So we have internet access at the house, its good enough to stream netflix etc but it's not enviable city speeds, it's normally pretty reliable. You'd have access to that of course, it works around the pool and the front terrace as well as in the main house.
Space for parking camper vans
Yes to the extent, but smaller campers would be welcome, we've room but big campers with old cluthes won't like the drive from the bottom gate.
