Hallo vrouwen en mannen van workaway wij zijn Henk en Susanne alweer 2 jaar getrouwd en qua leeftij d zitten we goed in de 50 jaar . Wij wonen in Bad Nieuweschans in een monument waar nog het een en ander aan geklusd moet worden om het huis tot een pareltje te brengen.. Wij wonen in een heel klein dorpje in een polderachtig landschap vlakbij de zee. Hier wandelen en fietsen we graag . Voor jullie als workawayer is het een pracht omgeving om je wind door je haren te laten gaan en de zorgen van je af te laten glijden. Je kan met de bus en trein overal komen, bijvoorbeeld een dagje naar de stad Groningen en tis heel leuk om een kijkje over de grens met Duitsland te nemen en de cultuur verschillen te proeven. Ook werk ik in Duitsland op weekmarkten en we zijn op zoek naar een winkel ook in Duitsland en voor beide is hulp wenselijk .
Hello ladies and gentlemen of Workaway, we are Henk and Susanne, married for two years now and in our fifties. We live in Bad Nieuweschans in a listed building that still needs some work to turn it into a gem. We live in a very small village in a polder-like landscape near the sea. We love to walk and cycle here. For you as a Workawayer, it is a beautiful environment to let the wind blow through your hair and let your worries slip away. You can get anywhere by bus and train, for example, a day trip to the city of Groningen, and it is great fun to take a look across the border with Germany and experience the cultural differences. I also work at weekly markets in Germany, and we are looking for a shop in Germany as well, and help is needed for both.

Ieder persoon heeft weer andere interesses. Over sociale activiteiten kan ik weinig zeggenl. Natuurlijk kunnen we samen naar de supermarkt of een of andere winkel in gaan, maar jullie moeten zelf aangeven wat de wensen zijn wat jullie eens zouden willen bezoeken en dan kunnen we dat samen inplannen. Verder is voor ons core bussines de verkoop van organic cheese ofwel biologische kaas op weekmarkten in Duitsland en dat is wel heel vroeg opstaan voor als je dat niet gewend bent, maar tis een pracht vak, misschien is het voor jullie leuk om daarin mee te helpen en we zijn op zoek naar een vaste winkel ook daarvoor is het leuk om gemotiveerde hulp te krijgen van jullie, want de winkel zal dan van de grond af opgebouwd moeten worden . Dus de buitenkant en binnenkant zal dan er op en top uit moeten zijn. Wij zijn dan bezig met de buiten kant en binnen kant om een zo mooi mogelijke winkel te maken. Misschien is er iemand van jullie die dat ook een mooie hobby of uitdaging vindt?
Ik heb alles in het Nederlands geschreven omdat ik een Nederlander ben, maar mijn vrouw is Duitse. Ik heb begrepen van mensen die daar verstand van hebben dat het heel eenvoudig is om mijn intro in iedere taal wensenlijk te vertalen , vandaar dat ik dat graag aan jullie over laat.
Every person has different interests. I can't say much about social activities. Of course, we can go to the supermarket or a shop together, but you have to let me know what you would like to visit and then we can plan it together. Our core business is selling organic cheese at weekly markets in Germany, which means getting up very early if you're not used to it, but it's a wonderful job. Perhaps you would enjoy helping out, and we are also looking for a permanent shop, so it would be great to have your motivated help with that too, because the shop will have to be built from the ground up. So the exterior and interior will have to be perfect. We are currently working on the exterior and interior to create the most beautiful shop possible. Perhaps some of you would find this a nice hobby or challenge?
I have written everything in Dutch because I am Dutch, but my wife is German. I understand from people who know about these things that it is very easy to translate my introduction into any language, so I am happy to leave that to you.

Wij Susanne en Henk hebben zoals in de intro aangegeven een monument waar niog veel aan moet gebeuren wil het in uitstekende staat verkeren. Zoals het verflafkrabben van de kozijn en het verven van kozijn ook het rot van de kozijnen moet eruit. De dakgoten moeten vernieuwd worden..Er moet een schuurtje gebouwd worden . Er zijn als dit klaar is misschien nog vele andere werkzaamheden en plannen maar dat is op dit moment te vroeg om daar over iets zinnigs te zeggen.. Overnachting zal op een jaarplaats in een caravan(in de caravan is een toilet maar die kan alleen worden gebruikt door de dames. Op de camping is een goed verzorgt toilet en een mooie douche) zijn op een camping in ieder geval zal men zich confortabel moeten voelen en zijn. Mocht u vragen hierover hebben mag u die altijd stellen en als u foto s of andere info zou willen hebben willen wij die graag opsturen via mail of anderzins vertellen,. Indien u cq jullie geen auto hebben zullen wij jullie naar de camping brengen en weer ophalen indien jullie wel een auto hebben zullen we de brandstof voor de heen en terugreis van de camping betalen. Wij hebben in de nabije toekomst ook de beschikkiing over een huis met centrale verwarming douche en toilet en 1 officiele slaapkamer maar er kunnen 4 mensen slapen. Wij zullen het minimum loon betalen en als men langer zou willen blijven en aan weerskanten voelen we met elkaar confortabel en de sfeer is goed gaan we met elkaar praten over een passend loon. We hebben mensen nodig voor de markt en winkel en die gaan we naar geschiktheid en passie goed betalen, maar wij hebben ook vrijwilligers nodig voor ons huis.
Wij verkopen biologische kaas op weekmarkten in Duitsland tevens zijn wij op zoek naar een vaste winkel waarin wij onder andere biologische kaas willen verkopen . We hebben mensen nodig met passie voor een winkel en ook voor biologisch voedsel, en voor vrijwilligers is misschien wel leuk voor workawayers om samen op de markt te staan en te ervaren hoe dat gaat evenals in een toekomstige winkel die we ook in Duitsland zullen openen.
We hopen dat jullie info vragen zodat wij alles zo duidelijk mogelijk weer te geven en er geen misverstanden bestaan en jullie met een gerust hart bij ons kunnen logeren en werken. en recreeren!!
As mentioned in the introduction, we, Susanne and Henk, have a monument that needs a lot of work to get it into excellent condition. This includes scraping the paint off the window frames and repainting them, as well as removing the rot from the frames. The gutters need to be replaced. A shed needs to be built. Once this is done, there may be many other jobs and plans, but it is too early to say anything meaningful about that at this stage. We will be staying overnight in a caravan on a year-round pitch (the caravan has a toilet, but it can only be used by the ladies).The campsite has well-maintained toilets and nice showers. After all, you should feel comfortable at a campsite. If you have any questions about this, please feel free to ask, and if you would like photos or other information, we will be happy to send them to you by email or provide them in another way. If you do not have a car, we will take you to the campsite and pick you up again. If you do have a car, we will pay for the fuel for the return trip to and from the campsite. In the near future, we will also have a house with central heating, a shower and toilet, and one official bedroom, but it can sleep four people. We will pay the minimum wage, and if someone wants to stay longer and we all feel comfortable with each other and the atmosphere is good, we will discuss a suitable wage. We need people for the market and shop, and we will pay them well based on their suitability and passion, but we also need volunteers for our house.

Wij Henk en Susanne spreken Nederlands Engels ( na enig oefen wel weer goed omdat we dat zelf bijna nooit meer praten) en Duits, Frans zijn we bereid te leren maar ook een andere taal bijvoorbeeld Slavisch is zeer welkom evenzo Scandinavisch. maar ook andere talen zijn interesant mits wij elkaar maar kunnen verstaan.
Accommodation
Overnachting zal in een caravan of woonmobiel cq stacaravan of chalet zijn natuurlijk met een kachel. Welke het wordt hangt af het jaar getijde en van de verkrijgbaarheid van een jaarplaats. Mochten er vragen zijn, wat zeer logisch is, zijn ze van harte welkom. Jullie kunnen info films of video krijgen als jullie daar naar vragen.
