    Description

We bought our little hamlet in the french countryside, a year ago. It’s a haven of tranquility, surrounded as we are by the beautiful french countryside and overlooking the sea and the Île de Tatihou.

We are slowly discovering our gardens, planning, shaping and planting, as well as starting to renovate the cottages. If good chats, good food, sharing and learning new skills, tranquility, as well as beach walks is your thing, then we would love to hear from you.

An average day is a mixture of DIY, gardening and making fresh food, french bread. We like to start our evenings with a little apéro, or I might make a cocktail, a bit of piano, or music and then a freshly cooked dinner. We love to cook traditional french food, but also dishes from all over the world.

There is enough space here to have your own area to relax. We have a beautiful bright studio space, overlooking the sea where I like to paint, meditate or do yoga, which you are free to share. We also enjoy playing jeu de sociétés, cards, dominos etc and we have all the usual digital diversions, wifi, Netflix etc… as well as a log-fired hot-tub in the warmer months.

We are early retirees, in our mid-50's and our children are all grown up now and have flown the nest.

You will fit in well here if you have a zest for life and a positive open outlook and can do attitude. We look forward to hearing from you.
