Our children are 10, 13 and 16, they are growing without schooling . We run a democratic community for children. This community runs on Principles similar to The Sudbury Model, and Summerhill in England.

We have sheep, chickens, lovely large garden, polytunnel, a large pond and streams, fields and woodland.
We are looking for a person or a couple to help us in the last week of September and through the autumn and winter. We are open to short stays and longer stays. We do not have the capacity to host families I'm afriad. Please get in touch if you are interested.

We love eating our own food and looking after the land with care.
We would love help with any of the following: planting, general gardening, logs, web design, general food prep and help. If you are interested in coming we like the exchange to include 2 or 3 hours per day depending on the task, 5 days per week. In return we can provide a big warm welcome, accommodation in our beautiful cabin, provide wifi, and you will be in a wonderful part of the world just by a wild rugged coast. You will have your own outdoor kitchen at the cabin and we would prefer you to cook for yourself (unless you'd like to do more hours and cook for the family as well, then we'll buy the food.) We can help you get to the shops to buy your own food. Occasionally eating together would be something we'd enjoy. Food, cooking and hours are all negotiable and we would love to hear from you and discuss what would be your preference.
