    Description

    Hi!

We are Nati (Chilean), and Max (Belgian). Our dogs Abril (Chilean) and Zuma (Colombian).

We started our Eco project in February 2021 on a beautiful Finca in the mountains near Villa de Leyva, Boyaca. It's the perfect place to escape from the Corona madness, enjoy nature and fresh mountain air, and get some experience with organic growing, nutrition and diet therapy, sustainable landscaping and eco-building (inspired by permaculture and techniques from several continents).

With a spectacular view of the Paramo de Iguaque, the mountain that rises 1400m higher than where we are, the Finca measures almost 2 hectares of (mostly) inclined land with two ponds, native trees, eucalypts, a few fruit trees (soon to be more!), wild blackberries and ferns, agave and plenty of grass. At the bottom of the Finca runs a creek through a small patch of old oak trees. 200m further, across some farm land you'll find the gorgeous river La Colorada with water gushing down from the Paramo, through a lush valley.

We've recently finished the renovation of a small 200 year old adobe house where we now live in. We have a huge bell tent (5m across and 3m tall) available for guests or volunteers, equipped with a double bed and solar lights. It has a big terrace to enjoy the view of the mountain on the other side of the valley, with a boardwalk to the ecological bathroom.

    Hola

Somos Nati (Chilena) y Max (Belga). Nuestros perros Abril (Chilena) y Zuma (Colombiano).
