    Description

Our newly built and recently opened Pod-Hotel is located in La Ventana, Baja California Sur, Mexico, 100 meters away from the beach of the Sea of Cortez which is known for its biodiversity. Whales, sea lions, turtles, dolphins among others call it their home. The little town is well known among wind sport enthusiasts. During the winter months people come to kitesurf, wing foil and windsurf. But there are many other things to do as well. It is a paradise for diving, SUP, snorkel, MTB, hiking and fishing.

The core of our hotel is community. Our guests have their own private pods but there are several common areas to come together, like at the bar, around the fire pit, in the media room with a nice lounge area, at the pool etc. We have a restaurant and bar where we serve breakfast, lunch and dinner and offer barista coffee, smoothies, cocktails - everything you could wish for.

Our team is a mix of local and international staff where everyone is happy to learn from each other and the other cultures.

Our volunteers will benefit from working together with our local staff. Everyone is open to learn more about other cultures and countries and is happy to share more about the local Mexican traditions, the culture and food. If they are seeking to practice their Spanish, also no problem. All of us speak Spanish and we are more than happy to teach you more.

Travelers will also get to meet the lovely locals and the variety of tourists that come visit.

  • Help

    Help

Volunteers will be doing a little bit of everything, as needed. Working at the reception, helping the guests if needed, supporting the local staff, helping organizing events, contributing to social media, a little bit of maintenance. Proactivity, flexibility, willingness to learn are a must. If you don't have experience, no problem. We are here to teach you. It is all about practice, it does not take long until you know how everything works here.

Speaking Spanish or English is a must. Speaking both is a plus. Good energy is essential, passion and drive!

We prefer a commitment of a minimum of 1 month, but if that does not fit into your plans, don't worry about it. Contact us and we are sure that we will figure something out.

The beach is just across the street - 100 meters away from the beach of the Sea of Cortez which is known for its biodiversity. Whales, sea lions, turtles, dolphins among others call it their home. You can go on ocean safaris and will probably see one or more of those animals or you can go fishing with local fishermen and their "pangas" (typical fishing boats) and hope to catch a tuna or Mahi Mahi.

La Ventana is well known among wind sport enthusiasts. During the winter months people come to kitesurf, wing foil and windsurf. So, if you always wanted to learn one of those windsports, now is your chance. But there are many other things to do as well. It is a paradise for diving, SUP, snorkel, MTB, hiking and fishing. There are also natural hot spring that are worth a visit.

La Paz, the capital of Baja California Sur, with its beautiful promenade is just 45 minutes away. It is a beautiful city and has everything you might need, bigger stores, shopping centers, movie theater etc.

There are other places nearby like:

El Triunfo - Former silver town (30 min. drive)
Los Barriles - Former fisher town and wind sport paradise (90 min. drive)
Todos Santos - Pueblo mágico (90 min. drive)
Cerritos - Well-known surf sport (90 min. drive)
Cabo Pulmo - Natural park (2 hours drive)
Los Cabos - International airport and touristic hotspot (2 hrs 30 min)

A lot of fun things to do!
