Help maintain and garden at my little farm in the heart of the Galápagos Islands!
About the Host:
Hi there! I live in a house on Santa Cruz Island, right in the unique and amazing environment of the Galápagos archipelago. Life here is peaceful, surrounded by incredible nature, and I'm looking for proactive, easy going travelers who want to experience the islands while helping me keep my home and garden in great shape.

Cultural Exchange:
We share the house day to day, so it's a very straightforward and easy going environment. We can chat, cook together, or practice languages (Spanish and English) while sharing meals or hanging out in the common areas.
Since I live here and know the island well, I can share tips on getting around, local routines, or quiet places to visit. I like keeping a relaxed atmosphere where everyone respects each other's space and privacy, but also enjoys a good conversation, sharing stories from our travels, or learning from different cultures. It's simply a quiet place to live together naturally while you help out with the garden and property maintenance. -

What help is needed:
I am looking for a helping hand with general property maintenance and gardening tasks, which include:
Trimming and pruning plants/bushes.
General garden upkeep (keeping the outdoor areas clean and tidy).
Minor maintenance tasks around the house.
Expected help: Around 4 to 5 hours a day, a few days a week (flexible schedule so you can enjoy your days). -

Accommodation
Accommodation:
You will have a comfortable place to stay at the house, sharing the common areas. It’s a clean, quiet, and simple environment designed for resting after a day of work or exploring the island. You'll have access to the basic amenities needed for a comfortable daily routine, including shared spaces like the kitchen and living areas, ensuring a relaxed and uncomplicated stay.
You will be able to enjoy produce harvested directly from our land. In addition, we will provide all the necessary fresh and refrigerated ingredients during your stay; however, each person will be responsible for preparing and cooking their own meals. -
What else ...
Schedule: We usually agree on a flexible schedule of around 4 to 5 hours a day, focusing mainly on garden upkeep, pruning, and basic property maintenance.
Meals: We can coordinate details about meals when messaging, keeping things simple and practical.
Getting around: Santa Cruz Island has plenty of options for exploring during your free time walking, cycling, or taking local transport to nearby beaches and highlands -
