Description
We have just opened a hostel in the village of Wadi Rum and are looking for volunteers to help us here and in our family camp in the desert. Your time will be split 50:50 between the hostel and the camp.
At the hostel your help will be mainly focussed online - helping to manage bookings as well as helping with social media. We’re looking for independent workawayers who have ideas about marketing as well as website design. In our camp your help will focus around the guests who come to visit and consist mainly of maintenance and generally making then feel welcome.
We specialise in providing climbing tours of Wadi Rum and so can provide equipment and routes for volunteers with climbing experience. For beginners we can teach them the basics with the guests staying with us.
We receive tourists from all over the world, with the intention of showing them a true Bedouin experience while sharing the authenticity of this beautiful part of the world. We hope to provide you with this same experience and you will also have plenty of time to experience the wilderness of Wadi Rum.Types of help and learning opportunities

I stayed here for 4 days and I truly enjoyed every moment spent with him and his family. During these 4 days I had the opportunity to experience the Bedouin hospitality at its core, from spending time and collaborating with every member of Suleiman's campsite to playing with Salem's (one of Suleiman's brothers) children to being part of… read more
Thank you for giving the opportunity to stay and get to know the culture of such an awesome place Suleman!
I stayed a week working here, some days with my friend Giovanna and some days alone. The work was pretty much taking care of the camp and helping with tourists when needed.
Suleman prefers couples… read more
