    Description

We're a long established family run stud farm in the middle of Ireland. We breed Traditional Irish horses; Irish Draughts, Connemara ponies and National Hunt race horses.

We also have some beautiful traditional Irish horses for riding.

We're a large family. The children range from 18-29. Only two of the children live at home full time. The others are regularly at home on weekends which is loads of fun!

We have dogs and some pet lambs also.

*️️️️️️️*️️️️️️️*️️️️️️️ For the Spring, we welcome experienced riders. All our horses are traditional Irish breeds, and mostly bred at home. Our young horses are broken and riding. They need some schooling and experience now. We also have more experienced riding horses. *️️️️️️️*️️️️️️️*️️️️️️️

We have a large indoor arena to ride, outdoor trails, and an 8 horse walker for added exercise.

If you're a confident rider, please email me.

For summer: We are searching for people who want to learn about horse reproduction. We foal mares, breed them naturally and also artificially (A.I.) You can assist in all parts of this.

We have wonderful facilities; 30 stables, a large indoor arena, a large 8 horse walker, stocks and laboratory.

There's always loads of things to do in summer, with mares foaling and breeding.

*️*️It is a great learning opportunity for anyone studying Veterinary, Ag Science etc.*️*️

It will work best if you come from a farming or horse background and have a genuine interest.
