  Description

  We are a family of 4. I am Mireia, a secondary school teacher, and my husband is Marc, a computer engineer. We have two children, Jana, who is 4 years old, and Martí, who is 2 years old. Our children understand English perfectly because I speak to them a lot but it would be nice to have a native speaker to listen to different accent and meet someone new. We enjoy going for walks, riding bikes, going to the movies, painting, drawing, reading, yoga, board games and good food.

  Living with a family of 4 in a house with a swimming pool near Barcelona and Girona, we could spend a weekend in an apartment in Barcelona (which is 1 hour and a half away). Enjoying the excellent Catalan and Spanish cuisine, making new friendships, and enjoying good company.

  Help

  Two weeks (From the 20th August - 3rd of September) I need help taking care of my two children and speaking to them in English. I need someone to stay with them 3 hours in the morning from Momday to Friday before lunch, while I work at home.

  I’m an English teacher, I studied fine arts in Barcelona and in Bristol in the UWE. I know a little bit of Chinese and I’m fluent in Catalan and Spanish (my mother tongues).

  A house with a swimming pool in a well-connected village of 2,000 inhabitants near Barcelona (1 hour and a half away) and Girona (30 minutes away)

  Available transportation: bus. Places to visit: volcanic area, inactive volcanoes in Olot. City of Girona (30 minutes away) or Barcelona (1 hour and a half away). In the same town, there are many cycling and hiking routes. All services are available, such as bars, restaurants, etc.
