Description
Hi thank you for reading me!
I recently bought my home in the mountains of La Zarza in Fasnia.
What to expect:
- easy going vibe
- peaceful remote place in the mountains
- very simple living space without luxuries
- possibility to be creative and I can teach you a lot about gardening (plants, trees) and caring for a home
- closesr village is La Zarza. The house is located above in the mountain, continuing a steep road. The only public transport is from the village (15min walk). If you want to discover the island, please check the bus connections or rent a car from the airport.
I expect:
- to be respectful, since I am opening my home to you
- clean after yourself
- buy your own food, so that you can eat what you desire
- to be motivated in actually wanting to help a bit daily, whether it is is on your own or done together
- inapropriate behaviour will not be tolerated, if you are disrespectful, do not contribute or are putting others into uncomfortable situations, you will be asked to leave. I do not make exceptions.
I am trying to create a safe, peaceful and creative space in nature, where I am opening my home to you. So if the place, myself or others are disrespected, I will act accordingly. -

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
I hope to be able to support each other and create a peaceful and respectful place together
Communication for me is key. I do communicate very transparently and straight forward on what is possible or not, expected and how to adapt according to your own interests and skills
On weekends you can join me to the local market of Fasnia, where we will do the shopping
Also if you are a climber and have your own gear, you can join me and my friends sports rope climbing on the weekend
I can teach you a lot about gardening and permaculture
Also if you are planning to stay longer you will notice how we solve problems while living in the mountains by finding solutions with the available resources -
Help
- being creative, if you want you can assist me with small DIY tasks (woodwork, painting, renovating, installations, etc.)
- easier tasks in nature like gardening, planting trees, watering the plants, harvesting fruits
- cooking and cleaning, also there is a barbecue which can be used to cook nice food with the wood available -
