    Description

We have a toddler who need some extra eyes and ears on the weekends. We love to play outside in the gardens and go for walks with the wagon. You can also help with projects on the farm in your extra time if you would like.

    What else?
    * Volunteering happens mostly on Saturday afternoon and Sunday.
    * We strongly prefer that volunteers stay for at least two weeks.
    * Volunteers enjoy vegetarian food cooked by the farm's chef. Food is cooked at the main house, with lunch prepared mainly by our cook. Breakfast and dinner foods also provided.
    * Volunteers stay in screened-in cabins that are scattered around the farm, which is adjacent to two creeks.
    * The farm has a dedicated internet line that is fast and reliable. (Your host works remotely full time with zero issues.)
    * The cabins do not have electricity but volunteers can access a power supply at the main house.

We are off the grid but close to the main road with easy access to the bus and busito. 12 miles from the capital city of Belmopan and 40 miles west of Belize City.

Please bring a headlamp. If you want to help on the farm, please bring work boots and clothes accordingly.

    ***

Note: This listing is updated significantly from the farm work listing that we posted in 2018—no more roosters or stump removal (unless you want to!).
