    Description

Hello! My name is Delia, and I live in a beautiful traditional farmhouse in the Tuscan countryside, in Donnini, near Reggello and Florence.

Together with husband Zeno, who is 26 years old, I help run a small winery where we welcome guests for wine tastings, lunches, dinners, vineyard experiences and cooking classes.

We are looking for someone to join us approximately from the beginning of August until the end of September. We would like to welcome a friendly, reliable person who speaks fluent English and can help us during our hospitality activities.

Our wine tastings, lunches and dinners are carefully prepared, elegant experiences, with close attention paid to the service, presentation and atmosphere. The main tasks include welcoming guests, assisting us during wine tastings and meals, preparing and tidying the spaces, serving food and wine, and helping us keep everything clean and organised.

I mainly takes care of the cooking and setting up the spaces and also focus on welcoming guests and organising the experiences. We are therefore looking for someone who can work alongside us, particularly during the service and with cleaning and tidying up afterwards.

This is not a full-day commitment from morning until evening. We are a small winery and normally welcome only a few guests at a time. Occasionally, however, we may organise a dinner or an event for a larger group.

Working hours will vary according to our weekly bookings, so we prefer to agree on the schedule together from week to week. In any case, we guarantee one or two full days off each week, depending on the programme and reservations.

Meals will be provided by us. We can accommodate dietary requirements where possible, but anyone following a particularly specific or restrictive diet should be willing to be flexible and work with us to find a practical arrangement.

The person staying with us will have their own private bedroom in our farmhouse.

During your free time, Florence is easy to reach by a convenient train connection. We live in a peaceful area surrounded by nature, while still being well connected to the city and many other beautiful places in Tuscany.

We also share our home with two dogs, a cat, a horse and some chickens, so it is important that you feel comfortable around animals and enjoy countryside life.

We are looking for someone positive, independent, tidy and helpful, who enjoys meeting people, pays attention to detail and would like to help us provide our guests with a warm, elegant and memorable experience.

Staying with us offers the opportunity to experience everyday life in the Tuscan countryside and to learn more about wine, food and local hospitality.

You will be involved in the life of a small family-run winery and will have the chance to learn how we organise wine tastings, lunches, dinners, vineyard experiences and cooking classes. Depending on your interests, you may also learn more about our wines, the vineyard, food and wine pairing, table setting, service and the preparation of traditional Italian dishes.

As we welcome guests from many different countries, there is also a strong cultural exchange. You will meet international visitors, share conversations and experiences, and help us create a warm and professional atmosphere.

Living with us also means experiencing a quieter rural lifestyle, surrounded by vineyards, animals and nature. We are happy to share our knowledge of the area, Tuscan traditions and local food, while also learning about your culture, language and personal experiences.

We hope this will be more than a simple work exchange: we would like it to be an opportunity to live together, learn from one another and become part of our daily life for a period of time.

We are looking for someone who can support us with our hospitality activities at the winery from the beginning of August until the end of September.

The main tasks include welcoming international guests, helping during wine tastings, lunches, dinners, vineyard experiences and cooking classes, assisting with table setting and service, and helping to clean and tidy the spaces before and after each experience.

Our tastings and dinners are elegant, carefully organised experiences, with great attention to presentation, atmosphere and service. They are not informal or improvised events, so we are looking for someone who is tidy, reliable, attentive to detail and comfortable interacting with guests.

Fluent English is essential, as many of our visitors come from abroad. Previous experience in hospitality, restaurants, wine tourism or customer service would be appreciated, but a positive attitude, good manners and willingness to learn are equally important.

We are a small winery and usually welcome only a few guests at a time, so this is not a full-day commitment from morning until evening. Occasionally, however, we may host a larger dinner or group.

The working schedule will depend on our weekly reservations and will be agreed together from week to week. We guarantee one or two days off each week, depending on the programme.

Meals are provided by us. We can accommodate reasonable dietary needs, but guests with very specific or restrictive diets should be prepared to be flexible and help us find a practical arrangement.

You will have your own private bedroom in our farmhouse. In your free time, Florence is easy to reach by train, and the surrounding area is ideal for enjoying the Tuscan countryside.
