Description
Born in 1958 & 1955, we live, my wife and I, in a small village in South of France. My wife is a generalist doctor in our village and, for myself, after being a house-husband during 20 years with our 4 children (aged now 30, 27, 25, 23) I work as a volunteer cultural worker. Since 2010, I am involved in the organisation, in our village, of a cultural festival on the theme of "the praise of Slow travel". We like to meet people. We like nature, in particular birdwatching and we use to do cycling trips in several places of Europe. I am interested in languages and I can speak English, Occitan ( a local Romance language), Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Catalan, Esperanto and a little bit Romanian.

Help
Welcome to Le Caylar.
Whit a team of friends I organise a festival in a small village (450 inhab.), "The festival of Roc Castel" .
The theme of this events is presenting different cultural spectacles and activities (musical concerts, tales, cultural or artistic works, outdoor activities, and so on...).
BUT, we have also another theme : "Tribute to slow travellers". So, we are, as well, a festival of travel.
You could help us participating to the preparation this event which requires us a lot of work (decoration, DIY, preparing material and places, advertisement, etc.) .
You could, as well, discover our beautiful and wild region with its awesome landscapes and its interesting heritage.
You would share our family life, since your accomodation and meals would be at home, and meet interesting people and travellers. And during the festival you should be volunteers to welcome the "festivaliers".
I'am very interested in foreign languages, to speak them and to speak French to people who want learn or improve it.
You can come right away. The festival will occurs at the end of July.
Waiting for your reply.
Best regards.
