  ¡Hola!
  
  From October onwards we are looking for someone/couple to come and help in our little paradise in Northern Galicia. Preferably someone with building experience and/or experience in a project that we want to realise in the near future. Galicia is an amazing place. With its high cliffs, surf beaches, and forests, it's still a wild place.
  
  We are building up a little homestead farm(1,5 hec.) connected to some sustainable projects we like to test out. The farm is dedicated to the mission of creating a well-balanced eco-system and rich soils that produce nutrient-dense foods. Designed with & operated on Permaculture/Sintropic agroforestry principles. This year we are building up a new greenhouse and build the natural pond further. Also looking forward to build up two domes and finish the skate pool we started two years ago. If you have any experience in projects like these, please let us know!
  We have a sailing boat as well, which is currently in Holland. We have some great connections in the sailing world though and are planning to start a sailing club in the area!
  
  Chris is a adventure seeker, he is a great survival guide, photographer, loves extreme sports and is an amazing father and sailer. Simcha is a midwife, nurse, (ex ballet) dancer and board sport lover, always happy to help out and take on challenges. We both like to enjoy life to the fullest and give an amazing youth full of adventures to Zen; our happy 4 year old son who is an absolute champion. A very gently bubbly loving personality, who loves to play pirate. Luckily a Zen pirate ;)
  
  You can stay on our land with a camper/tent and use the facilities, electricity, springwater and so on. We have big comfortable tents and also an unfinished house that has a beautiful new roof on it. In the garden we have created places where you can relax, planted fruittrees, palm trees, our chickens, cat and dog are also around. In general there are a lot of cool things to do in the area.
  
  Our dear friend Laida is our neighbour and lives close by. She is building her own place next door. Also very close live Ben (cook) and Nina (artist) who both speak French, Spanish and English.
  
  We're thrilled to be surrounded by an amazing group of like-minded souls who all live in the area. Besides Laida, Ben and Nina there are many more great people living around. Its like a small community with a bunch of adventure seekers, nature enthusiasts. We love to come together on the beach to surf and bbq, go climbing, have a house/garden party, or just enjoy each others company by helping each other out with their projects.
  
  Besides the social side we also like to have some peace and quietness, we prefer to have a part of the day only for our family and spend some quality time with our son. So don't worry about needing to join in, just do what you like to do! ;) Ofcourse not every day is the same, but we are flexible and can talk about the time we can spend together working, enjoying the beach or have time alone.

  Help

  We need help with taking care of the garden. Also help building anything depending on your skills. Chicken house, domes, natural swimmingpool, outside shower, pizza oven, paths around the house with flag stones, skatepool etc. We can talk about this when you are interested in staying at our place.

  Accommodation

  Flat space in the garden in front of a platform with an amazing view. You can use the whole garden and there is a possibility of storing stuff in a dry house.
  We have comfortable tents available. Also an unfinished house if you prefer to sleep within four walls ;).

  What else ...

  Check out the Ortigueira area on Google. Many many things to do over here! You will need a car if you want to explore a bit on your own as well, also handy if you need to do some shopping etc. (hiring over here is around 10 euro's a day). There are as well trains and busses going but not often a day!

  At our place there is connection if you have internet on your phone. No WIFI available. In town there is a library with good internet connection. I like to go there to work, also they have outside picknick tables.

  Any pet is welcome! As long as they don't attack our chickens and cat ;)
