  • Description

We are a small. family owned, non profit ranch that rescues horses to be used in our equine therapy programs serving at risk youth, veterans, and their family members. We are located south of Phoenix, in the rural desert, at the base of the San Tan Mountains. We care for 22 horses, 4 dogs, 40 chickens, and 12 box gardens, This requires a great deal of hands on help. While we have a local volunteer program we still need volunteers with the skills needed to complete projects and help train our horses.

This is a southwestern US lifestyle. Its a cowboy atmosphere although there are no cows. But if you want a dose of what operating and working on a horse ranch is really like, here we are. Alot of hard work, beautiful scenery, & good people.

    What else ...

While we are located 40 miles southeast of Phoenix, we are only 1-3 hours away from the sonoran desert to the south and the green forests and lakes of central Arizona to the north. We are surrounded by several Native tribes whose history is available to all who want to visit and share.
