    Description

Hello / ¡Hola! 🌱 My name is Precha, I’m a single mom and digital nomad currently living in Armenia, Colombia 🇨🇴, in a calm, green area in the north of the city. I live in a cozy 2-bedroom apartment 🏡 with my sweet 2-year-old son 👶, and I’m looking for a clean, kind-hearted, and hard-working woman to join our little household in exchange for accommodation and food 🍽️. I’ve been vegan for 11 years 🥦 and I love living a mindful, spiritual, and creative life ✨. I’m an entrepreneur and content creator—you can find me on YouTube by searching “Precha Mok” (@prechathenomadmama) 🎥. Over the past 7 years, I’ve lived in 32 countries—24 of them with my son—and I truly value connection, community, and a positive home vibe 💛. The location is peaceful yet well connected—buses, taxis, or Uber 🚖 can quickly take you to some of Colombia’s most beautiful towns like Salento, Filandia, Circasia, and nearby coffee and cacao farms ☕🍫. This opportunity is ideal for a woman who is clean and organized 🧼, friendly and reliable 😊, open-minded and enjoys children 🧒, vegan- or plant-based-friendly 🌿, speaks some English or Spanish (either is fine!) 🗣️, and open to learning and using natural cleaning methods 🧴. I welcome stays of at least one week ⏳, but longer stays of one month or more are preferred so we can create a better rhythm and connection 🔄. Please note: 🚫 No animal products (meat, fish, eggs, dairy, etc.) can be cooked or brought into the home, to keep the space aligned with our vegan values 🥗. If this sounds like a match, please send me a message with a bit about yourself, your experience, and why this opportunity speaks to you 💬✨

If you’re seeking a calm, intentional lifestyle where you can reconnect with yourself, nature, and community, this could be the perfect spot for you 💛.

  • Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

At my home, you'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in Colombian culture, especially in the beautiful coffee region of Quindío. You’ll experience daily life in a typical neighborhood, try local fruits and dishes (veganized!), and explore nearby towns like Salento and Filandia—each with their own unique charm.

On a personal level, I come from a very multicultural background—I’m half Chinese, half French, and I was raised in Canada. My son is half Mexican, and we’ve lived in 32 countries, so I carry a blend of global cultures with me and love sharing stories, recipes, traditions, and perspectives from all over the world. Whether we’re cooking, talking, or just spending time together, I’m always excited to exchange ideas and learn from each other.

I believe cultural exchange is about genuine connection, curiosity, and celebrating our differences—and I hope you’ll feel inspired and enriched here.

  • Help

    Help

🧹 I’m looking for help around 20–25 hours a week with a few light tasks including: basic cleaning like floors, surfaces, kitchen, and bathroom 🧽; doing laundry and folding 🧺; occasional help with organizing clutter 🗂️; keeping an eye on my toddler for a few minutes here and there while I take care of quick tasks 🧒💛; and simple vegan-friendly meal prep or cooking if you enjoy it 🍲🌿. 🧼 I use only natural, non-toxic cleaning methods in my home—no harsh chemicals 🚫🧪—and I’ll gladly show you my holistic, simple cleaning routine if you’re not familiar with it! 🎨 Bonus if you have skills in graphic design (like thumbnails or banners), video editing, or SEO, since I’m a content creator and always open to support in that area too 🎥✨.

🗣️ I’m a polyglot and absolutely love language exchange as a tool for connection and growth! Language exchanges have been a core part of how I’ve learned over the years, and I’m always open to improving my French, Turkish, Portuguese or any other language. Even if your native language is something I’ve never studied before, I’d be genuinely excited to learn it 🧠💬. We can practice informally during daily life, and I’m happy to support your learning as well!

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

🏡 You’ll have your own private bedroom with a single bed, a large closet, and a window 🛏️🪟; home-cooked vegan meals or shared groceries depending on our setup 🥗🛒; access to the building’s swimming pool 🏊‍♀️; high-speed Wi-Fi 📶; and a peaceful, respectful home environment where you can feel safe and at ease 🌿. This is also a great base to explore the stunning Quindío coffee region, with places like Salento, Filandia, and many beautiful nature spots just a short trip away! 🌄☕️

  • What else ...

    What else ...

🌱 To help keep a peaceful, respectful, and health-conscious space, I kindly ask that no alcohol, drugs, smoking 🚭, or guests be brought into the home. No animal products (meat, fish, eggs, dairy, etc.) are allowed in the apartment, including for personal meals 🥦❌. I live a vegan, chemical-free lifestyle and only use natural products for cleaning and self-care—please do the same during your stay! 🧼✨ I'm happy to show you what I use and how to make your own simple, non-toxic alternatives. I’m possibly open to small pets 🐾, depending on their size, temperament, and how they fit into the home (and you’ll be responsible for any damage). I can only host single women or possibly a single mom who bedshares with one child 👩‍👧. 🌄 Why you’ll love Armenia: This city is a hidden gem in Colombia’s coffee region—safe, walkable, and full of warm, friendly locals 🧉, colorful produce markets 🥬, and a laid-back vibe. From here, you can take short trips to Salento, Filandia, Cocora Valley, Circasia, and nearby cacao and coffee farms ☕🍫. The landscape is lush and green, the air is fresh, and sunsets over the Andes are pure magic 🌅. If you’re seeking a calm, intentional lifestyle where you can reconnect with yourself, nature, and community, this could be the perfect spot for you 💛.

    Can host digital nomads

This setup can work really well for a digital nomad! My son is in daycare five days a week for five hours a day, which is also when I get most of my work done. I work remotely as a digital nomad myself, mostly from home, though I sometimes head downstairs to the outdoor seating area for a change of scenery, or work from a local café or restaurant. The apartment has reliable Wi-Fi with 5G and a quiet vibe during the day, and I’m also open to coworking together or checking out coffee shops if you enjoy that. Help is usually needed in the mornings or late afternoons, and we can organize a flexible schedule that respects your work commitments. If you value balance, creativity, and a peaceful place to focus, this could be a great fit.
