Description
Located in the countryside of San Giorgio Jonico in Puglia, this Social Cooperative was born dealing with the work integration of disadvantaged and disabled people, today it mainly deals with environmental education laboratories, socio-cultural and political activities. It extends over four hectares of land partly cultivated with vegetable gardens, olive trees, almonds and prickly pears. It also carries out projects for the recovery of abandoned olive groves. It also deals with the temporary reception of disadvantaged people who are involved in the work of managing the house, the fields and the small chicken coop and in educational farm activities with local schools.
It is currently lived in permanently by 3 people, about ten cats plus other friends and companions who frequent it permanently

Situata nell' agro di San Giorgio Jonico in Puglia, la Cooperativa è nata occupandosi di integrazione lavorativa di persone svantaggiate e diversamente abili, oggi invece si occupa principalmente di laboratori di educazione ambientale, attività socio culturali e politiche. Si estende su quattro ettari di terreno in parte coltivati a orto, alberi di ulivo, mandorle e fichi d'india. Inoltre porta avanti progetti per il recupero di uliveti abbandonati. Si occupa anche di accoglienza temporanea di persone svantaggiate che vengono coinvolte nel lavoro di gestione della casa, dei campi e del piccolo pollaio e nelle attività di fattoria didattica con le scuole locali.
Attualmente è vissuta stabilmente da 3 persone, una decina di gatti più altri amici e compagni che la frequentano stabilmente

The Social Cooperative can be reached by public transport up to San Giorgio Jonico (TA) then you can arrive with a short walk or we can pick you up by car. Again by public transport it is possible to reach all the most well-known places, Taranto, Grottaglie, Martina Franca, others as well as the Salento coast road. However, we will be happy to share experiences by visiting the locations together

La Cooperativa Sociale è raggiungibile con i mezzi pubblici sino a San Giorgio Jonico (TA) poi si arriva con una breve passeggiata o possiamo venirvi a prendere in auto, Sempre con i mezzi pubblici è possibile raggiungere tutte le località più conosciute, Taranto, Grottaglie, Martina Franca, ad altri nonché la litoranea salentina. Saremo comunque felici di condividere esperienze girando le località insieme
