Description
Hello we are a family of 4 with 2 kids (17 and 5) and a small dog. We have a house in a very nice village 70 km away from Paris and near Fontainebleau. Paris is accessible by train in 45 minutes and Fontainebleau is served by bus.
In our family we speak French, English, Russian and Spanish.
We can offer separate accomodation for 1 or 2 persons in our guest house and will provide you with delicious home made meals. If you are into cooking, we can cook together and I will be thrilled to learn your recipes!
We would like you to help us with our garden (900 meters) and maybe a bit with the house cleaning or small handiwork.
⚠️Currently looking especially for help with house cleaning (windows, big spring cleaning, interior and exterior). Couples welcome, preferred stay duration 1-2 weeks max.
Please contact me for further details and hopefully see you soon.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
We love to cook in our family and we love travelling and hosting. We will be happy to tell you about French traditions, culture and history. You can also visit the surrounding towns which inspired impressionists with their landscapes and architecture. If you are learning French it is also a great opportunity to exhange with native speakers.

Help
We seek for help with our garden and are looking for someone who is fond of gardening which is not so much our case unfortunately! Also interested in general maintenance tasks and cleaning.

The train station is 5 minutes by car (we can give you a lift when possible) or we can consider prividing you with a bike. Buses are available to go to Fontainebleau and there is a train station as well which goes to Paris in 40 minutes (Gare de Lyon). However a car is the best way to discover the area.

It was the first time this family hosted Workawayers, but as the whole family speaks English fluently and as they are absolutely welcoming and nice people to be around, communication was effortless—it felt like they had been doing this… read more
They are independent, willing to put in all the necessary work and even more than you ask them of. They are real pros in gardening and are always willing to help around the house.
