Description
We live in the countryside, in East Cork 15 minutes walk (1 mile) to the nearest small village Killeagh. We love the peacefulness of living in a rural area surrounded by green fields and we have a lot of space for our dogs and cat to explore (3 acres). Killeagh village has a lovely woodland area for a walk (Glenbower woods). We love the new greenway bike route that takes you to Midleton (west) and Youghal (east) via Killeagh village or Mogeely village.
Killeagh village is a connection point for regular buses travelling to local towns (Youghal= 10 minutes by bus; Midleton is 15 minutes by bus).
We have 3 dogs and 1 cat, who will need someone to look after them while we are away. Our 3 dogs- Cindy (7 years; Bernese mountain dog/German shepard cross) , Bella (10 years; labrador/collie/visla cross) and Emily (1 year; German shepard/Belgian Malanois cross) - love people and children. They are energetic, affectionate and love to play outside! They sleep inside at night time.
Our cat- Diggy (female; 5 years)- is the queen of the stable yard! She also loves affection from humans.
We also have x2 ponies- Cookie and Josie- who will be looked after by our neighbour when we are away, but will remain on site. They too love being rubbed and talked to by adults and children!Types of help and learning opportunities

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
The local villages near us (e.g. Killeagh, Mogeely) regularly play irish traditional music in pubs which is a great introduction to Irish culture! Youghal is a local town 10 minutes by bus from Killeagh village and has a lot of irish heritage which may tourists visit. Midleton is a bustling market town and is home to the Jameson whiskey distillery which is a big tourist attraction. At home we have a lot of books to read, Irish cookery books to practice, home grown vegetables to pick and eat if you like (depending on the season), we have a piano and guitar if you like to play music, and a large trampoline for some fun exercise, etc etc!
Help
We would like to find a responsible person who loves animals and staying in the countryside (rural area) to look after our 3 dogs and 1 cat while we are away for 2 weeks (July 5th - July 19th). We would like someone who will feed our animals, interact/play with them, put them inside at night time and let them out in morning time, for the 2 weeks. We would like the person to arrive a few days before we leave so that would can introduce you to the animals and our house and show you how everything works!

Accommodation
We live in a 2 story house in the countryside (rural area). The workaway will have their own room with a double bed and a fabulous view of the countryside.
What else ...
Killeagh village (15 minutes walk from our house) has buses travelling to local towns - e.g. Youghal, Midleton etc regularly. It also has a woodland area that is really nice for walks. There is a new greenway bike route accessible in Killeagh village where the workaway may be interested in walking.
We live in a rural area and it is far from Cork city (45 minutes by bus).
We are non-smokers and do not use drugs. We are looking for someone who does not smoke and does not use drugs, who will look after our house. We do not want anyone visiting/or staying in the house with the workaway and we do not want any house parties.A little more information
