I enjoy working to some good tunes and heading out dancing or to yoga. I am involved/ connected in with various local cultural, arts, sport, adventuring and land based activities here. I am currently leading a local indigenous resurgence project at my families village site of Xwaaqw'um (Burgoyne Bay Salt Spring). Help out with planning for summer youth camps, harvesting and processing local indigenous plants. Benefits during spring/ summer months are participating and learning from local Indigenous Elders and knowledge keepers. Can learn about local Indigenous land and sea use, and cultural experiences or learn the best spots to go hiking/ adventuring of all kinds!
I'm mainly looking for people who are interested in helping out with landscaping/ gardening/ cooking/ cleaning/ carpentry/ sanding/ painting/ perma-culture/ landscaping. A chill setup where we find times to relax and go adventuring too.
