 - Description- -------------
Minimum duration 2 months, not hotel settings rather jungle adventure with beach action!
 --------------
Our finca is located at remote island Cebaco, in pacific Panama, surrounded by pristine jungle, where abundant life of animals (and insects!) thrives as well as marine exploration awaits!
This year we starting with our travel gig experiment, and we looking for person or two ( we partially pay only one tho ) to stay at the beach all the time, taking care of surroundings ( cleaning and maintaining ) and tourists ( engaing, managing, preparing raw fruit and plant based food )
We provide housing ( upper floor on beach rancho ), shared kitchen ( lower floor of beach rancho ), shower with sweet water ( limited, 20L per day ), as well as drinkable water ( limited cca 4L a day ), compostable toilet, starlink access, electricity limited ( charging phone and tablet ), basic food ( rice, pasta, coconuts, in limited amount, and seasonal share of fruits if we have abundance ). In exchange for helping us here for about 2-3 months🏝️🏝️
During your stay we ask you to refrain to bringing on island any animal products ( milk, cheese, meat, eggs, and snacks etc derived from it ), but you are free to catch some fish in moderation ( few times a week ) as we provide small rod to borrow. Also killing any other animal ( neques, crabs, shrimps, lobsters, .. ) on island is prohibited and we would ask you to respect that 🙏
 We don't have and don't provide : refrigerator, air-condition..
This is a co-creation role, not just job and stay. You would be helping to kickstart tourist adventure with us, learn from it, experiment and coming with ideas, handle difficulties and challenges with us. As a result it is partially paid, from profit ( % based, if it will be profit ). You will be centred in remote settings, surrounded by jungle, in off-grid diy framework, partially survival settings, where you will have opportunity to immerse into new experience and rethink day to day life and your future direction, being more sustainable and eco gentle with nature and life around.
In your free time, we usually don't play Saturday or Sunday, but based on engament needed wrt tourists and preparation around, feel free to enjoy beach or hikes, we have will have kayak and sup for you to enjoy. Currently we prepare everything to be ready for dry season, from bungalows, places to chill, to kayaks and water sports and hikes at jungle. With you we start engaging more tourist, prepare your ideas! :)
You are likely good fit, if you see this as a cultural exchange and new experience rather than need of money, as later depends if we get even some tourist hooked. But few things to be noted : you need to be healthy, no physical issues and physically above fit ( think of it as : man ok to lift 50kg at least, women 25kg, able to run 2km without stop ) love sun and nature, comfortable with camping settings!
We looking for reliable persons who love to live, or experience, natural living, can enjoy fruits as a food - not only as a snak, able to prepare delish plant based food and raw deserts ( if you willing so but no experience yet, better to do some tests if it fits you :), value inner work, meditation and as mentioned: well above fit 💪🙏
As a bonus, we can take you few times on the water with us, depends if we go to natural park coiba, or to blue water, maybe even explore sharks ( on your responsibility of course ) ! And of course we can let you rain the mainland, and bring you there, for some days if you would like to do so!
Also worth to note, that you can get opportunity to immerse and learn diy settings : solars, hydro, plumbing, planting, fruit exploration, pickling, composting, art of machete, coconuts opening, cold pressed coconut oil or cane sugar juice making, marine and many more!
We reserve right, in case we don't vibe good or arise issues which makes your stay not pleasant here for any party, to prematurely end our adventure together. We will help you to get boat from island - but at your own expenses ( $160 usually asks captains around here ), so please keep that in mind 🙏 same applies if you decide to go sooner than we agreed upon before start, we hope you understand 🙏
