We are a surf lodge located on the Pacific Coast in El Paredon, Guatemala
El Paredon is the only surf town in Guatemala and due to its surf consistency, we receive waves all day, everyday! Our lodge is right in front of a nice beach break and is the perfect place to relax, surf, practice yoga, explore the town, tour the mangroves on a stand up paddleboard, but most importantly: enjoy beach life and make new friends :)
Being one of the few Guatemalan owned properties on the beach, our lodge attracts a diverse mix of both travelers and Guatemalans alike. We are implementing new ideas and trying to provide a fresh and unique experience in town. The idea is to create a fun, energetic atmosphere full of excitement and unforgettable memories, while simultaneously being in harmony with nature and the culture of Guatemala. To create this atmosphere, we are looking for open-minded volunteers who will be a constant positive and valuable contribution to our operational team.
We look forward to you joining our team.

In addition, simply relaxing and enjoy beach life such as, lazy days in the hammock, cooking with friends, finally reading that book, sunsets on the beach, or enjoying beers with new friends.
Help: Different tasks depending on your skills. We've been growing rapidly and have a lot going on at the moment. The help needed could be reception work, painting and maintenance, promoting hostel activities, and any new creative ideas are always welcome.
Our ideal Workawayer is a self starter who proactively looks for things to do or ways to improve with no need for micro management. Those who have experience living with others and know how to respect communal areas and treat the space as if it were home. Optimists who prefer to look for the silver lining in all situations. Previous experience in f&b/service industry is highly preferable!
