  Description

  We’re a family of three who moved to Paros in 2017. Paros is truly one of the most beautiful islands in Greece — with stunning beaches and landscape , kind-hearted people, and a unique, relaxed atmosphere.
  
  We have a sailing yacht. Dov, my husband, is a professional captain with over 25 years of experience sailing all around the world. In recent years, he has become an expert in the Cyclades area.
  
  We have a sweet and curious 5 almost 6-year-old son named Yam-Or. We home school our kid and During the year we are looking for a teacher who can spend time with him for 2 hours a day learning and 3 hours a day playing.
  
  And if the yacht happens to be available, we’d be happy to take you sailing with us for a few hours so you can experience some of the island’s most beautiful places from the sea. ( and its depends on the season ) and the rest of the time you are free to explore the island, we will guide you. And we also will be happy to show you the Greek life we have here and to be a part of it.

  Help

  We are looking for an alternative teacher who can be with our kid five times a week, 3 hours a day, teaching basic subjects while also spending time in nature, playing, and learning through real experiences.
  
  We would love someone who has experience with alternative education, such as outdoor learning, homeschooling, Montessori, Waldorf/Steiner, forest school, or similar approaches.
  
  The length of the position is flexible: it could be for 2 month, three months or more. We are open to different options that work for everyone.

  We’re offering accommodation in an apartment that we will find next to our home for your stay that includes indoor and outdoor. we will communicate about it if the volunteering is suitable for you.
  
  Ingredients or a stipend may be provided for Workawayers to cook for themselves. We will also offer to join our meal as we will treat the Workawayers as a family.

  In your time off, you can explore the beautiful island of Paros. There is a good bus system on the island. We will connect you with events happening in Paros so you can explore. As families, we go on hikes, picnics, and enjoy nature and fun activities and we will be happy if you will loin us. We will be happy to guide you and help you find things that match your interests.
