Description
Hello!
We are a family-run winery based in Agliano Terme, amongst the beautiful hills of Monferrato in Piedmont.
For seven generations, our family has been cultivating vineyards and producing wine with passion, combining tradition, respect for nature and modern winemaking techniques.
We love meeting people from all over the world and sharing our way of life.
As well as growing grapes and producing wine, our family carries on a number of ancient rural traditions that are part of our way of life.
We have a large vegetable garden that allows us to be almost entirely self-sufficient, and numerous fruit trees, from which we harvest produce to make juices, jams and preserves to enjoy during the winter.
Our estate is based in an old farmhouse, the most historic part of which is currently undergoing a conservation restoration that we are carrying out ourselves.
We are looking for someone to help us with the care of the private vegetable garden and the house.
Please note that our Workaway opportunities are completely separate from our family business, winery, and vineyards. -

There will be an opportunity to learn about rural traditions and customs while living in direct contact with a local family of winemakers and farmers. Participants will discover everyday life in the countryside, with a particular focus on traditional practices related to the vegetable garden, seasonal cultivation, and the preparation and use of local products. The experience will also encourage cultural exchange through conversations, shared activities, and the opportunity to learn about family traditions and ways of life passed down through generations.
