Description
Ciao!
We are a creative family living in the picturesque seaside town of Castiglione Della Pescaia on the south Tuscan coast. We have a highly reputable restaurant in the medieval village and are extremely passionate about quality locally-sourced cuisine, so if you are a foodie, this could be the ideal match!
If you are creative and share a passion for the Arts this would be a bonus as the mother has an international career as a performer and choreographer in musical theatre around the world, including London's West End, so our house is often filled with music and dance :-)
We have three little daughters, a 3-year old and two 1-year old twins! We are looking for a proactive and creative individual (or couple) who can assist us in the afternoons and evenings. You will be accompanied by the mother, giving her a hand, rather than being left alone!
We are a bi-lingual household (English and Italian) and are looking for someone with a good grasp of at least one of these languages. Our dream au pair would be someone who is confident and experienced with younger years, including babies, and a genuine passion for early childhood education. Start date would be in April or May and have a commitment period of minimum 3 months, but preferably 6 months.
You will have your own private single room complete with small balcony, meals included, and free time to explore the beautiful Maremma region. We are a short walk from some of the most beautiful unspoiled beaches in Italy and the town has a vibrant lively atmosphere during the summer months with lots going on including music concerts, beach yoga, watersports and nature trails.
If this sounds like the kind of experience you're looking for, we’d be delighted to connect!
*There is an option if two au pairs are traveling together we could provide a self-contained apartment, one person working in the morning/early afternoon, the other in the late afternooon/evening.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
We are a creative family and enjoy outdoor activities, being in nature, DIY projects and traveling the world! Day to day we love getting outside for walks to visit the local parks and beaches.
We are big travelers and spend the winter months abroad, exposing our daughters to different cultures, practices and languages. We would be delighted to share these passions with our au pair, introduce you to the stunning local area and improve language skills.

What else ...
The popular seaside resort of Castiglione Della Pescaia is a buzzing town in the summer months, attracting both Italians and international tourists with its picturesque location and wealth of activity, beach bars, independent shops, restaurants, cafes, gelaterias and nature trails. The unspoilt sandy beaches stretch for kilometers in either direction and encompass Maremma national park.
Pisa, Florence and Rome are all 1.5-2 hours by train and offer the opportunity to deep dive in to Italy's rich culture and history.
