    Description

    The Cottage and Farm is a family run farm dedicated to sustaining the practice of agriculture on the sea islands of South Carolina and offering opportunities to learn about and participate in these traditions.

    In addition to year-round growing of organic and heirloom varieties of vegetables, the farm grows culinary, medicinal and scent herbs, specialty salad greens, citrus, heritage turkeys, chickens, quail, rabbits, sheep and fleece, farm raised, fresh tilapia (in development) and black soldier fly larva (seasonal).

    We are a small homestead offering opportunities with our sheep, chickens, quail, rabbits and ducks along with tending gardens and fields and working on numerous small construction, landscape and irrigation projects.

    We do have decent wifi and people are on their own between noon and 5:30 pm and again after evening chores and dinner. We have hosted many people who work online.
