Dinghy sailing instructor for St Vincent, in the Caribbean required for summer months to work alongside local volunteers teaching kids and adults to sail.
As a young person I really enjoyed helping kids, who would never have the chance normally, to learn to sail and I wanted to offer that opportunity to other young people.
Living in and getting involved in the culture of this tiny multi island nation. Meeting a full cross section of people and helping us take sailing to the remoter parts of the islands. Along with the local volunteer team you will be mixing and liming with fishing communities from 6 islands.
Qualified dinghy sailing instructor to work alongside local volunteers teaching kids and adults to sail and help run summer sail camps. We have 5 o’pen BICs, 2 laser ones, 4 topper topaz, 6 Optis.
There will be week long sail camps, try sailing days and one on one sessions, from beginner to an introduction to racing etc. We will be travelling to 6 of the Grenadine Islands as well as mainland St Vincent.
Studio apartment, with double bed so can accommodate one person or a couple. It is a non smoking property.
All food is included.
St Vincent is the old Caribbean. You won’t find any All Inclusives here. Just acres of unspoilt mountains, rivers, countryside, sea and beaches, including one of the few live volcanoes in the Caribbean. Transport around the islands is very cheap and easy in the vans.
And we have a wide network of friends across the islands, always happy to have extra friends along on boat trips, hunting waterfalls, beach limes, river cookouts etc.
